Lots of things in the right place here. Just starting to reveal secondary aromas, primary fruit is receding a bit and starting to show an earthy, tertiary roundness. Some nicely balanced and accentuated dark fruit and spice beneath the cloaking structure. Really needs a healthy decant, or just keep waiting. '05 is so strong.

Great wine - real balance and I’d argue in its sweet spot now. Very little not to like - all the elements, good fruit, nice acidity and tannins and moderate alcohol all contribute to a very enjoyable wine.

Very nice village level Arnoux. Just starting to show secondary aromas. Young, cool, kind of tight, but a good dose of ripe fruit too. Dark fruit and spice. Very nice, but needs time imo

Really nice ... especially for a village wine, and actually drinks like a premier cru. Textbook example of a burgundy with plenty of dark fruits, spice and earth, a silky, lean texture, good structure and no sharp edges. Perhaps just a bit simple, but that is being really picky. In its prime drinking window right now (its been in my temp-controlled cellar since release).

Still very mute on the nose - dark in colour and opened up up a degree in the glass to show dark fruit and spice - young though I should hold if you gave any .

Another winner!. This has been a bit tight over the last two years, but is now really coming into its own, with a fruit driven, complete , mouthfilling lushness. Not particularly complex, but a very satisfying burgundy nonetheless.

Lots of fruit - mostly dark along with some red notes, plenty of spice and perhaps a bit of earth and oak. A touch of brett emerges after some airtime. Lots of fruit with good depth of flavors and a rich, almost California-style, smooth texture on the palate. Just a bit acidic on the medium + finish. Burgundy flavors and acidity with California richness and texture. Drinks like a 1er cru. Really nice and much better than expected. 91+

Washington Tasters Guild Nuits St. Georges Dinner (Brasserie Beck): Dark color, semi translucent. Brett, fresh cut grass, some heat. Red fruit obscured by tannin, medium short finish. That said, seemed to improve significantly with air, so recommend a longer decant.

Very intense. Fine and persistent complex aromas of wild flower, berries and chocolate. Hard to get your nose off the glass. Very obvious and powerful acidity but manage to get along well with other components. Palate cleanser with long finish. However the incredible performance of nose and mouth feel may demand a slight better performance in terms of finishing. Or too demanding?

Fruit forward red burg with cherry notes dominating. Shows earthiness and hints of wood as well.

Drinking beautifully right now. Lots of black fruit with a lingering finish - easily confused for a 1er cru blind.

Wine Education Service - Red Burgundy (South Hampstead High School): Fruity, heady, simple perfume.
Fruity, quite acidic, tannins quite soft, a little rustic and simple.
