Pale ruby colour. Sour cherries, wild raspberries and cranberries, some oaky vanilla, green herbiness. Well rounded by age, well balanced, not most complex though. Still VG

This is a fun easy drinking pinot noir from Burgundy. On the nose the wine pops with fresh strawberry and earth at first. On second inhale cherry and hints of oak emerge.
The wine is pale ruby in color, it has light medium body that is bit thin in the mouth. What it lacks in mouth feel it makes up with in flavor. Sour cherry and strawberry are dominant but there is earth and oak which linger after you swallow. The tannins are soft but there is a tart juicy acid quality. The wine screams freshness.
At $20.00 a bottle it's a good choice.

Simple food wine. Nothing special. Good nose offering a promise, but a flat and disappointing palate. Not a great QPR at over $16. Jadot or Faiveley Bourgogne would be much better.

Tart red fruit along the lines of strawberry and pomegranate, just a bit of a slightly darker savory side, M+ acid, M- body, M- tannin. Down the middle Bourgogne rouge that’s built as it should be and gives you what you’d expect and nothing more—but for a budget price negociant Bourgogne rouge that’s good enough.
On its own this is very drinkable but boring, but it’s very gastronomic and would work well with a wide variety of food. We had it with a sweet potato-tahini-paprika mash topped with mushrooms sautéed in garlic, smoked sea salt, thyme, etc. + boxed Annie’s Mac and cheese and it worked very well. So this feels like something to buy if you want a very food friendly Pinot that’s inexpensive and doesn’t draw attention. Beyond that it obviously isn’t good value compared to what you can get from eg Rioja, Chianti, or the Languedoc for the same price. ~5-5.5/10

Dark red, that passing whiff of funk to please tasters seeking authenticity then baking spices. Not an easy wine to taste, round fruit, tart acid, rough tannins, bitter wood. The fruit is quite nice until the faults intrude something to please or offend everyone. Decanting may help? Age may soften? Food may mask flaws? Try that sour cranberry compote. Fruit of the vine compromised by over zealous winemaker.

Tonights wine.. a simple clean expression of french pinot noir.. initial.notes bright crisp.. opaque red/cranberry colored.. on the nose dried earth/leaves bright red fruit. Palate.. medium tannins.. earth red fruit light.. short finish.........after being open 4 hours body is medium.. fruit is getting heavier and darker but still red fruit..pleasant drinking.. simple but beautiful.

Basic Burgundy, all fresh tart red fruits. Solid acidity, surprisingly chewy tannins, bit of a woody finish, and the old vines give it just a bit more concentration than you’d think for entry-level Bourgogne.

Strawberry cherry and earthly Smokey notes. Chewy tannins and needs time to relax out of the bottle. Light and dry.
