Sorry, forgot specific notes, but was definitely enjoyed. Don't know how past prime it may be at this point (if at all) but plenty of fruit and nice finish that complimented fresh seabass entree.

golden color, great mouth feel, smells and tastes of dried apricots, butter on the nose and through the palate. not a great showing overall, past its prime.

Really nice ... butter cream, caramel, baked apple and citrus. The acids lock down the finish and this wine continued to improve throughout the night. A solid buy.

Medium to full body, nice fresh nose with some butter, peach, melon and minerality. The oak is well used as it is very subtle, fruit is wonderful with again peach, green apple, good minerality and little pepper. Impressing finish. Could be mistaken for Burgundy.

bought this wine based on the reputation of the producer with no professional review of this vintage available. it does not disappoint. egh has described this wine better than i can. in addition, i find some walnut. not quite as complex as beringer sbragia but seems to be sturdier. i wish that i could afford to make this my every day drinking california chard.

14.5% alcohol...the nose is sharp, pineapple, mango...again sharp, citrus, nutmeg, spicy, rich with awesome acidity...tasty stuff - would buy this one BTG or in a restaurant and not be disappointed.

Roy Piper brought this wine to Merril Lindquest's home.
Light golden color. This wine is more on the fresh, crisp side of the Chardonnay spectrum (vs. low acidity, tropical, buttery extreme). It is certainly oaky in its youth, offering apple and honey. This is a medium bodied, very crisp Chardonnay that is a bit over oaked for the fruit it holds.

Opened not decanted. Served around 62-65F. Grass and honey nose; peppery from the alcohol with a clean, grassy, hay taste on the palate with a crisp citrus finish. Good.

V-Day - Golden color. Nice balance. Carmel and buttery with apple fruit. Not much acidity. Good prelude to CB '95.

Fresh and spicy! Notes of pearskin, lemon-lime, nutty/caramel oak, some minerals and kiwi. Nice combination of creamy mouthfeel and acidic cut.

Solid Cali Chard with good fruit, some mineral, and a creamy backround. Has some oak, but not overdone. Very nice wine at this price point.

Ramey Tasting (C.C.): Crisp and tart. Plenty of acid but a little thin. Needs food.
