Dyp gul farge.

Clear pale/medium gold; clean medium plus nose of lime, apricot, mango, croissant and cheese; dry; high acidity; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with fruit payoff and dolce de leche on the finish; long finish; drink now or in a few years; blinded as a white Bordeaux - similar to the first bottle that we had; conclude that there’s lots of bottle variation in this vintage

Clear medium gold; clean medium plus nose of ripe lemons, butter, croissant and Kraft caramels; dry: medium plus acidity; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; pronounced flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of caramel/vanilla and molasses; long finish; drink now or in a few years; fantastic wine - buttery goodness yet refined and elegant; much better than the last bottle we had

Full lemon colour. Pronounced and developing nose with yellow apples, ripe lemon, peach, smoke, wet stone, toast and butter. Pronounced taste of yellow apples, ripe lemon, peach, smoke, butter, toast, wet stone and hazelnuts. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Full body. A very good Chardonnay from Sonoma Mountain with fantastic balance. Needed 15 min in the glass to open. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with cheese, fish or shellfish.

Stunning example of what a California chardonnay can be. Fruit, oak, and yeast are balanced beautifully and on a knife's edge. Flavors of apple, pineapple, citrus and metal are juxtaposed with butter and toast. Dense and complex. After years of drinking middling California chards and contemplating their potential, this is a dream come true.

I kind of agree with Brent 25--lemon and dried pineapple fruit with decent acidity but mid-palate seemed a little shallow. Not the intensity I remember from prior vintages.

Clear medium/deep gold; clean medium nose of lemon custard and cheese; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate shows ripe lemons; medium plus to long finish; drink now or in a couple years; strange - smelled more like a Bordeaux white than a Californian Chardonnay; palate isn’t very interesting; maybe an off bottle or in a dead zone

Chris and Stephanie brought 2 bottles of this to OCNJ. A fantastic addition to the lineup for the weekend...Slight chill PnP, drank the first bottle over 2 hours, second one over 2 nights...
Medium gold color. Nose showing citrus, key lime, almonds. Buttery palate showing orchard fruits, candied lemon, creme brulee...secondary floral and oak notes. Medium/full body, long finish...
Classic CA profile, but not overdone as sometimes this wine is criticized for. You will need to like the style, this is well made and drinking well right now

brilliant yellow color, scents of lime, tropical fruit and crème brulee, balanced, elegant, flavors of burnt marshmallow, peach, apple, baking spice and hints of mineral, layers of pleasurable flavors, nothing too rich or cloying, it is easy to drink but packs some intensity, absolutely delicious, nice match with garlic butter lemon shrimp spaghetti, high quality

Compared to previous bottles of the same vintage, this was really disappointing. Past it's best.

This was a little more generous and luscious than I remember from my prior note.

An outstanding chard all it’s own, soft and creamy on the palate with a wonderful aroma of apple
Cheers

Annual Wine Group Summer Event - BBQ Brisket at Siggy's (Siggy & Jenny's Place, Mpls, MN): Small tasting pour. Brief note; rich and bountiful fruits, pear, buttercream, full bodied, well balanced and long. Nice.
