Light yellow. Nose of grass and citrus. Light, Sauvignon Blanc-driven palate of citrus, minerals, and pleasant acidity. Likeable simple wine. My wife and her guest didn't like it much ("too grassy"), but I thought it was OK.

palate: lemon juice, lemon zest, floral hints with sustained mineral and lime water. smooth/clean (somewhat hollow) on the mid palate .Finish with the slightest caramel/date hint. Refreshing and bright. This wine really improves on subsequent days. Delightful. Perfect with oysters on the halfshell.

I enjoyed the '05 quite a bit more, but this is still nice. Maybe the extra year in bottle added to the complexity and richness. This is a little leaner in style with still nice minerality, slight grassiness, and a medium body. The acidity is very refreshing and well balanced. The fruit compnent is a little weaker too, but offers nice yellow apple and asian pear. A suggestion of creaminess is in there somewhere and I'm hoping will emerge within a few more months in bottle.

Darker yellow, full bodied. Pleasant minerality, apple cider and some stoniness.

taste: pleasant mineral laced flavors with some lemon and melon behind the minerals
