Pale pink blush with golden highlights in the glass. Scents of talc, mineral and lemon. Soft and round in the mouth, there’s notes of sharp red apple skins and barely ripe pears followed by a long river rock laden finish. Still going strong. Drink now and over the next year.

Great price from Garagiste, nice packaging, and an “easy open” glass enclosure; beyond that, this is a pretty mediocre rose. Good flavors and typicality: strawberry, watermelon, raspberry, peach, minerality, but lacks intensity and length. Medium acidity with a medium minus finish. Drink now or over the next year.

3 hours later- Mondavi Chardonnay glass This is the sixth bottle of the case and high time to note the wine as it consistently seems to get better and better. Saline, minerals, strawberries and watermelon on the nose. Lean and bracing, mineral cut, high toned citrus and berry notes with more lemon and mineral on the finish. Clean and invigorating, this wine is a nice complement to rustic fare or refreshing on its own if you can enjoy the lean, mineral driven palate. Absolutely tasty now, but the wine keeps gaining a modicum of weight and interest over time. Drink now and likely over another year or two.

Pale salmon – ripe, round yellow or white melon, pineapple, watermelon candy, banana; palate added rhubarb and minerals. Medium+ acid, 13% ABV, medium body, medium- finish. Pleasant. Decent. Paired nicely with first chips and salsa, then pan seared scallops.
70% Syrah, 30% Grenache Gris.

Clear salmon robe, peach, summer melon, saline + slight oak nose; medium body, lush honeydew melon, fleshy peach, touch of tangelo on the palate. Good food wine.

Wine Wizards June 2020 Tasting (Wine Wizards Stockton): I was hoping this would be a contender for a summer rose because the package was so lovely. Nice bottle and a vinolock closure. It was good, a little lean and tannic with modest freshness and balance but unfortunately for the same price point or less I have seen much nicer wines with more fruit and cleaner structure and finish. Also slightly less pricey. One of those, Acquiesce, is equally a lovely package and a much better wine.

Bland nose of faint strawberries. Floral, but most notably dry. Paired with fresh homemade salsa.

Tart red apple, simple, clean, crisp finish. Easy quaffer since it's so light. Enjoyable pre-dinner glass.
After it warmed a bit and was open for an hour or so it developed a nice range of secondary flavors without becoming all "flabby" or "soft".

The other reviewers all have this right. One dimensional juice. Great for the beach, not a nice dinner.

All upfront fruit, almost to the point of imbalance. It took about 30 minutes to find equilibrium. Pretty one dimensional.

Very tasty. Not sweet, but also not bone-dry. A nice juiciness; lovely tasteful floral perfume, as well.

A very nice light Rose mix of Syrah and Grenache which I think makes it taste a lot like a cote de Provence.

Light and refreshing, but flavorful. Good as an aperitif or with a variety of foods. Great value at $9 from Garagiste.

Enjoyed this Rose, nice fairly light colour and good fruit. Plus a very unusual bottle with a glass stopper.
