Super oxidative, nose of a Sauternes, not pleasing to me at all. Tried to consume over three nights, with plenty of air. No significant change. I had other white Jurathat I have enjoyed, not this one though.

All aromas & characteristics of ‘Vin jaune’ in this wine: walnut, strong acidity, curry, oxidative notes.. this is the best pairing one can make with a cheese meal (think fondue, Mont d’or or raclette) 🤩

A private dinner (Café Parlotte, Amsterdam, NL): Classic Savagnin. Oxidative and minerally, deep but fresh, big power and energy, candied fruit, white nuts, weighty but energetic, firmly structured, velvety bitters, salty and long.

I am still introducing myself to the wines of Jura. Wow, this is good. Medium golden color. Notes of ripe stone fruit, apricot, some almonds, nutty oxidative notes, some peat, also some salty minerality. It's medium-full bodied, has medium-high acidity providing nice freshness and tension. The alcohol seems integrated, but recognizable. Long finish. A beautiful Cotes du Jura from this excellent producer. Really nice.

Complex, rich, oxidative, but with some nice fruit and acidity. Spicy and a little alcohol-heavy. Golden and deep. A wine to ponder. Or pair it with more food than you would think, cheese, but also creambased dished or seafood. 89-90

Sublime as always. The best wine pairing for many cheeses is in my opinion older Macle's Chateau-Chalon. But if you're drinking with people who have never tried Vin jaune, this is the best introduction you could hope for. Even people not caring much about wine find this great: powerful, kaleidoscopic, lenghty, cheap... I can't ask for more. If you can age it for a few years or find older vintages, even better, but it's okay to open now.
As per other comments, be aware that this is an oxidative wine, a "baby vin jaune", so don't expect to pair it with some fish or find "brioche" and citrus aromas.

A private dinner (Café Parlotte, Amsterdam, NL): Tasted blind. Really intense and rich and nutty, very salty, hint of flor, clearly in the style of a Vin Jaune but not as concentrated, long finish.

Suuuuuuper oxidative. Tasted more like almonds than it did apple. Be prepared for this, as it is not for everyone.
