A vanilla and creaminess on the nose. The flavor was citrus like and had a good amount of buttery flavor. The wine is a nice solid bottle that may have done a little better had it had a little more acid on the palate.

Pale yellow color, with some green hues. Grass, minerals, nuts and butter, both on the nose and the palate. Medium bodied, spicy and complex wine, but I think that the fruit is covered by the excessive presence of oak. Medium aftertaste.

Unusual nose of burning rubber and grapefruit. On the palate, this maintains a burnt component, but the minerality really takes center stage, with a slightly bitter citrus (not just grapefruit) flavor in the background. This was much more complex than I ever expected, and was a very pleasnt surprise. Terrific value at $14.

This is not sourced from the 30 year old vines of the virgilious. Sweet full fruit. Almost banana at full strength. Good stuff. Works for $18. Nice acidity on the finish. Toni says real leeyche lanolin on the nose and palate.

Vanilla, toast, light citrus notes, creamy on the nose, missing that wonderful floweral note I like some much in my viognier. Pallet shows, lemon, orange blossom, orange creme pop and almond extract on the finish. Bit hot as it finishes. To much oak for me. To be honest built to much like a chard. This is not a bad wine at all, just not my style. I did enjoy it because it is interesting, but is missing most of the components that I love in my viognier. I am scoring this 87 because it is a good wine at a good price.

color: light golden nose: Honeysuckle, honey, almonds with hints of orange zest and ginger. Full bodied, creamy and slightly viscous. A mouthfull of flavor with fruit and bitter almond firming into a very criso finish wich shows a touch of heat. There is an interesting citrus flavor which is reminiscent of fresh sorrel. A very nice viognier and a good value.

Negociants Tasting: Rich nose, with some peaches. Fruitier then the Wrattonbully. Nice acidity on a mediuim body but fairly rich palate. Very interesting finish with some floral and spicy notes. Excellent viogner, at a more then reasonable price. 90+

14.5% alcohol. Massive body. Cookie flavors. Spicy. Very different. Unpleasant oily and greasy texture.
