Medium golden yellow with a wide rainy, translucent rim with some legs.
Intensely sweet on the nose with honey, caramel, crème brûlée, toffee, along with tropical fruits in pineapples, pears and dried apricots.
On the palate, it is quite tropical fruit forward in the beginning with pineapples and apricots, and transitions to the caramel and toffee notes in the mid palate. There is a good amount of acidity as well, which balances the sweetness and the fruits. Finish is decently long with a bit of heat, with the caramel and vanilla notes lingering around.
Sweet, but not overly so, with the acidity keeping this fresh. Delicious.

Nice acidic backbone supports the flavors in a lively manner and not at all sappy. No hint of botrysis . Already drinking well but will evolve for another 10 years.

Golden yellow hue. Nose is pleasant, sweet and complex with notes of marzipan, saffron, dried apricots and peaches, and sultana raisins. Mouthfeel is rich and generous, sweet, yet still elegant, fresh and well balanced, with notes of marzipan, dried apricots and peaches, papaya and sultana raisins, with a long, persistent finish.
This is just an excellent and very elegant Barsac, drinks beautifully already, but will certainly develop well for decades.

Flowers, orange blossoms, pineapple. mango creme brulee and vanilla scents are all over the place here. Sweet, fresh and most importantly, zesty, the finish leans to the tropical orange side with a liberal drizzle of honey and orange marmalade. Drink from 2022-2045.

95-97 vvPunkte (75% Sémillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Muscadelle) Tiefgründig, sehr schön, würzig, verspielt, nicht zu viel Studentenfutter, auch florale Noten, das ist sehr komplex. Der Gaumen ist ein Monument, ungemein ausladend die Frucht, sehr schöne Cremigkeit, rassig und würzig, aromatisch enorm komplex und super lang. Endet auf Blütenhonig. Flüssiges Gold. 2025-2050. Orange blossoms, honey, cinnamon spice, creme brulee, pineapple and candied apricots create the perfume. On the palate, the wine pops with honey-drenched pineapple, mango and orange marmalade. As sweet as this is, there is ample freshness to keep everything lifted. 92-94 Pts
