Drank Wed 11.21 at home. Uncertain as to who gifted us the bottle. Nice soft yellow-gold color. smooth. very buttery/oaky--to the exclusion of other flavors. drinkable, but, a bit too much oak for me.

scents of white chocolate, custard, plain yogurt, melon and lemon. Flavors of tropical fruit and butter. California style. Oak is well integrated though even though its huge.

Lemon peel, nice oak, complexity increases through finish, though I agree that if you are used to high alc %, buttery over the top Cali chards this wine might be a bit too subtle. Not overdone - but refined, like the RRV should be. A hint of toffee helps bridge the gap along the way. Great find if you like this sort of thing!

Typical california oak with balancing acidity. The fruit lacks concentration and the midpalate is light, but overall it's a nice, easy drinking bottle of wine. For $35 at the winery, I would pass.

Integrated oak with vanilla flavors, while the wine makes you think of pineapple, pear, and lemon. Elegant, pretty big, and enjoyable.

Very good. Oak, vanilla, pear, melon and passion fruit. This possesses nice acidity and very tasty.

Pleasant floral/citrus nose; lemon-pear flavors, oakey Cali chard...pretty nice.
