Mikill ferskleiki. Flott vín.

A blend of 75% Pinot noir, 10% Meunier, 10% Chardonnay, & 5% Blanc Vrai (pinot Blanc) disgorged in June 2022 with 4 g/l dosage. The Pinot noir comes through a lot of front in the form of ripe apple, topped by a floral spice note (something I usually associate with pinot Blanc). Air brings out more vibrancy in the fruit and the spice not moves to the back with the perfect amount of acid. This is really really good for a price.

Superbe.

Pleasantly surprised - really loved it. Mostly red fruited - assemblage is predominantly Pinot. You can taste the quality of the grapes here - I believe all organic/bio. A step in the right direction for this Champagne House.

Really inviting nose, with lots of pastry and apples. Reminds me an apple pie that was made using unripe apples. Palate is fresh and lifted. A bit sour and short. Could improve with age and the price is quite good. Very good.

Fantastic QPR (around $60) from Côte des Bar. A Blend of Pinot Noir (75%), Chardonnay (10%), Pinot Meunier (10%) and Vrai Blanc (5% - a variety of Pinot Blanc). Beautiful colour with salmon nuances. Very expressive and distinctive nose with mineral, brioche and earthy aromas - a bold, but still refreshing version of Champagne. A buy if you can find it!

Never have seen this bottle from Drappier before, always remember the one 1959 bottle! I hate this labeling: no carbon footprint, are we talking about wine or about what? Horse plowed partly! Maybe it is more harmonic for everybody on the palate to use less sulfur, but the goal is A L W A Y S the liquid in the glass! So this is from limestone floor, 75% PN, 10% PM, 10% Chard, 5% Blanc Vrai, a lot of minerals here, full of lime, lime and more lime, very fresh and dry on the palate, needs some air to come more together, zesty still, good grip and with a light- maybe mid body, most impressing is the freshness here, will pair the rest of this bottle with some meat soon, long+, would recommend to keep this in your cellar for some 3+ years, *(**-****), around 91(+) potential

Seashell and pear on the nose, engages the palate with crispy apple, lemon and mineral, refreshingly clean, deeply grounded in stony mineral, great quality, a perfect match with lobster ravioli with garlic lemon butter sauce

Very dark honeyed color. Rich and juicy red apple with potpourri spices and a lot of energy. A dense and vivid Champagne.
