Half bottle, decanted for an hour first. Comprises 60% Temperance Hill and 40% St. Dolores Estate fruit, with a mix of used French oak barrels and 20% new French oak. Mostly tasted after about 2.5 hours of decanting. Bounces between cherry cola and raspberry profiles. Fun, perhaps a bit too much on the cherry cola side of things.

Mid weight, with a lot of sweet cherry and blue fruits. Felt like there was a hint of brett on the nose which was distracting. Even with that I’m looking forward to trying more here.

Black fruit up front, moving straight into a meaty core with big chunky tannins and finishing on acidity and chew. Big, bold, rough, Gevrey-esque. Great contrast with the red red red 2017 and even more '2018 Oregon Pinot' than expected. These two years are so fun to taste side-by-side... you can go from Volnay to Gevrey in just two vintages. So fun. Got a case, stashing most of them for 5+ years.

Bigger and bolder and darker than I remembered / expected. Still quite good, just not ideal stylistically.
