  D1h. From half bottle at Temple Court restaurant, NYC.
  Dark coloured, 5.
  Generous bouquet of dark fruits and earthiness with some barnyard stuff behind. Really interesting.
  Harmonious palate, mT, mA, mB, dry, dark fruits, balanced, balanced, elegant finish with character.

  Half bottle, decanted for an hour first. Comprises 60% Temperance Hill and 40% St. Dolores Estate fruit, with a mix of used French oak barrels and 20% new French oak. Mostly tasted after about 2.5 hours of decanting. Bounces between cherry cola and raspberry profiles. Fun, perhaps a bit too much on the cherry cola side of things.

  At pop: Black fruit moving quickly into a brambly, meaty, textural (texturous? heavily textured? rugged?) core, finishes with bright acidity.
