Ruby color. Pronounced aromas of cherries, cranberries, baking spices, dried herbs and cedar. Soft tannins, high acidity and alcohol, medium to full (for a PN) bodied. Flavors consistent with aromas. Nice long finish.

Some crunchy red fruits, some oak poking through and a hint of warmth on the finish. Primary should be in a better place in 2-3 yrs time but still I'm not certain it will ever be that interesting IMO.

Tasted against a mike smith Ancillary Sonoma coast sangiacomo vineyard…. Aubert nice precise delineated strawberry raspberry flavors with smooth tannins… Ancillary by way of comparison was jammy, extracted, sweet, cloying fruits and actually became offputting to me….(I used to love ancillary pinot)… Serve Ancillary to your friends who know nothing about wine….it will impress many of them…. Serve aubert to the more discerning drinkers…. Serve French burgundy to the people you love the most who will appreciate it..

A terrific wine, that I think would only have gotten better with age. Medium, ruby color. Medium primary aromas and flavors of cherry, cranberry and raspberry, lighter secondary and tertiary aromas of wood and earth, respectively. Medium acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol. Light bodied, with a long finish.

First taste of Aubert's entry level pinot. Obviously too young and opened a little tart in the glass. Softened over the evening and nice second day. A little over-priced, paying for the name.

PnP'ed and consumed over 2 hours. Medium ruby color, ripe red fruits, forest floor, and vanilla on the nose. Medium-high acidity, medium-low tannins, medium-full bodied, and a hint of sweetness on the palate. At 15.2% ABV, a very bold pinot that probably will benefit from more age and definitely better served with food than drunk on its own.

Opened and left in the decanter for an hour. The nose was very faint and oddly reminiscent of a black cherry gummy bear. Very gentle tannins, with excellent balance and long finish. Taste was fruit-forward and extremely satisfying.

Ruby. Pastel aromas of strawberries, stonefruit and lavender. Great acidity and structure. Balanced trending to acidic (its very young). Bright flavors of strawberries, raspberries and lemon zest. Medium finish.

First pass at this bottling - solid PN. Traditional notes but nothing nuanced about it.

Clearly an Aubert Pinot - well made - well presented fruit. But fairly simple. This wasn't ready to drink and was much better later in the night.

Very nice! Earthiness to start and then fruit and cream. Tasted like raspberry cheesecake. Very deep and concentrated. Medium plus finish.
