Mineral, with orchard fruit, light spice and dried herb, with crushed rocks and good freshness through the mid-palate. Medium-bodied, dry and over-delivers the modest price. 12,0% abv. recommended
Subtle aromas, but more pronounced flavors, of citrus and flowers. Medium-light body, firm acidity, with mineral hints on the finish. Excellent QPR, a great everyday Soave, remarkably refined for the price.

Medium golden, watery rim @12% abv. Aromas of pear, flowers, herbaceous. Dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol and ditto body. Palate is more mineral than fruit driven: saline, almonds, pear, lemon. Of note is the structure: tightly knit and elegant. Good length finish with some bitterness balanced by acidtiy. Nice and will stock up for spring.

Light yellow color. Hay, with floral, honey, lemon, and yellow fruits in its aroma. Medium to full bodied. Nicely balanced with its ripe fruit flavor and crisp finish. Still a little young, it will evolve over the next year, This is not your father’s Soave. There a lot of complexity here that revealed itself over the hour it took us to finish it. Great value.

Super easy-drinking wine. Peaches, golden apple, apple blossom, wet stones, green grass, saline. Medium acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, medium (-) finish
A richer, more full body than I expected. There's a funky flavor of bruised fruit that lingers. It isn't necessarily off-putting, but it's noticable.

A fresh nose of stone fruit and mineral. It is textural in the mouth, with bright fruit flavours and excellent balance. It finishes dry and is a satisfying white.

Area:Soave Classico Variety:Garganega 100%It is the "classico" coming from the hill production of the local variety. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VINEYARDS Site:Monteforte d’Alpone and Soave Altitude:from 100 to 200 asl Exposure:South/ South – East / South - West Soil characteristics:Basaltic lava (volcanic soil) Canopy system:Pergola Density:3000 - 3500 plants/ hectar Age of the vineyards:> 30 years Average yield:70 Hl /hectar Surface:Selection on about 25 hectars Annual production: About 200.000 bottles Destalking and crushing. Skin contact for 4 - 12 hours followed by pressing. Cold settling for 12 - 24 hours at 5°C. Fermentation in stainless steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation. Racking and maturation in stainless steel for about 8 months ABV: 12% So how does it stack up against my favourites, Gini? Colour: light gold, bright, clear. Nose: full, fresh, v floral, camomille, elderflower, v ripe. Taste: light body, round almost a touch blousy, ripe, almost vegetal reminiscent of greengages, peaches, elderflower. Long finish, soft, ripe, v floral, camomille, peaches, greengages. Overall, a puzzler. This has great complexity in its floral qualities yet perhaps lacks structure. Would I buy it again? Not sure given the opulence vs acidity.

Delightful. Almost Chablis like acidity and lift, but without as much minerality. Delicious.

A flowery nose with hints of hay.
The palate is well structured and has a soft and subtle acidity. An oily texture and a citrusy taste.

Quite floral and stone fruit dominated on the nose. Notes of camomile.
Fullbodied and plush. Mineral feel and peachy and almond taste. Some will miss acidity but I think it holds the balance.
