I thought this was fabulous. Cinnamon spice and potpourri dominate a highly aromatic nose. Ripe raspberry and pomegranate with balanced acidity and polished tannic structure. To my palate this is ready to drink in its exuberance. A shame they aren’t a bit more affordable but deservedly among the best tasting PNs in Oregon.

Antica Terra Collective Tasting (Brick Hall, Dayton, OR): More soil and spice than the Ceras' tried before it. A glorious wine if you like the "savories". Still plenty of red fruit to go along with those notes. Very long, 95+! 2023-3033.

Served next to a 19 Fourrier GC VV and this wine was the richer of the two. Polished, dense, and velvety without any sense of glycerin or overextraction. There's great depth of sweet blackberry fruit but also some subtle sage and allspice notes in the blanket of skin tannins. Acidity is adequate but not at all imposing. My favorite pinot of the tasting at Antica Terra

Return to Willamette; 7/2/2023-7/8/2023 (Portland & Willamette): Interesting. This was almost a bit more balanced and fresh than the 2012 that we tried alongside it. Very classic style. Bright and fresh and with good fruit and good balance. Enjoyable.

Bright, ripe fruit, a bit too new world for my taste these days to seek these out on the regular, but very nice wine.

Again, quite old world style, savoury, earthy, blueberry, black olive, pickle, medicinal. Need a few years to integrate.

Earthy, mossy, cherry and berry jam.
Cherry cola. Incredibly concentrated yet so lightweight on the palate. Persistent finish.
95 points easy. Wow wine!
