As reported several years ago. A nice red. Cranberry nose; mixed fruit of blueberry, currant and cranberry. Slightly smoky. No finish. A black fruit wine on a chilly night with stroganoff.

At 8 years this is drinking way above its price point. Didn’t need much time to open, and kept improving. Fruit, earth, wood, jam and smoke. But don’t over-think it. Just pop, pour and enjoy.

Dense ruby. Dark, dense fruit, but not yet open. Seems a bit hot on the finish; should wait to see if it softens. Good table wine, but lacks complexity.

Forward style, opened fully after an hour of air. Very pleasant, everything a table red should be. Had the muscle to stick with a fairly spicy beef dish.

Big, dense, and delicious. Plenty of dark red and black fruit rounding out a silky smooth finish. Big enough to hang just fine with BBQ on the early Spring grill.

Fruit forward aromas of boysenberry, huckleberry and red berry notes of raspberry and cherry. Floral scents of violets and roses add to the secondary aromas of crushed rock and white pepper. On the palate mouthwatering and vibrant flavors of sour cherry, wild raspberry, and huckleberry. Softer flavors of white pepper, wood, and vanilla play in the background. the finish is medium with good grip.

Heady, dark fruit nose that's a little hot out of the bottle. Well balanced on the palate, very even acid-tannin that lets the mouth water while the flavors build and develop over time. Blackberry, boysenberry, and black cherries, mellowing to hints of leather and tobacco. Very nice.

Great wine from Owen Roe. Very well balanced and structured, nice spice on the back end with purple fruits on the front.
