Improved as it warmed, with primary notes of Meyer lemon and Golden Delicious apple toggling throughout. Emerging minerality adds depth, and medium acidity keeps it moving. A bit of a clipped finish.

Pale straw with a nose centered on lemony citrus and waxy yellow-current fruit. Tart, midweight, finish is perhaps a bit short. A good effort but surprisingly soft and unfocused for Forge in a strong vintage. Enjoyed the pairing with an udon / tofu / eggplant dish and a salad with an Asian dressing.
Consistent with previous bottle but seems to have settled together a bit more. Still tons of acidity with some sharp lemon and citrus notes along with underlying crushed rock minerality. Better with food than on its own. Could still probably use a bit more time in bottle.

Lemon juice, ripe green melon , passion fruit, ripe pineapple, ripe yellow apple, white pepper, rubber/plastic/tbn and wet stone, on the nose. Intensity of aromas is medium +. It reminds me of Pfalz Riesling. The palate, however is pretty bitter and mineral driven - more like dry Mosel Riesling. it shows flavors of wet stone, lemon, lime, white pepper and cumin; rather than tropical fruit. Intensity of flavors is medium. Structured and elegant.
Speaking of structure, this has quite a bit. Medium + body and high acid. It’s going to go for a pretty long time. Drinking well now; with a lot of interesting places to go still. Drink or hold for 3-5 more years.

White apple, strong pear and lots of citrus on the nose as well as minerals and a distinct saline streak. When first opened, was much more citrus-dominant on the nose and the longer it was open, the more the pear shines through. Medium bodied (12% ABV) with lots of pear upfront with some round notes and lot of brighter, higher toned, more acidity driven notes. Mid-body adds white apple along with an excellent citrus backbone (lime and lemon). Acidity, minerals, saline qualities and citrus echo through the lengthy finish. As compared to the 2019, there's more citrus, saline and acidity in this 2020 and while it doesn't have the peach notes of the 2019, overall, I'd say they show clearly as from the same vineyard, but the depth and backbone of the 2020 give it the edge. This wine is already coming together well, but as it continues to integrate, should show more complexity and balance. Next bottle for me, late Q2 2024.

Excellent. Beautiful aromas of butterscotch, key lime pie, creme fraiche, sea salt, yellow apple, fresh rain. Palate is similar, but the acidity is so punchy it feels more citrus forward than the nose suggests. Very round body, high acid, medium plus complexity, medium plus finish.

Another nice showing tonight, lots of bright citrus and orchard fruits, subtle minerals on the nose, clean and fresh texture on the plate with lots of well balanced acidity and an enjoyable medium plus length finish

Great color. The nose is a bit tight; showing aromas of oak spices, Asian pear, sea salt, minerals and a hint of flowers. This is medium bodied on the palate with excellent concentration and very good class. Rich texture. The fairly long finish features a saline note and serious acid cut.

Medium gold color. A bit tight out of the bottle. After about an hour or so in the glass, displayed a youthful nose of lime zest and juice, crushed rock, herbal notes, a bit of salinity. Similar flavors on the palate but wound up in a wall of ripping acidity with a drying finish. Better with food than on its own. I think there is a lot of potential in this wine but for me, needs a bit of time or significant air upon opening.

Beautiful medium gold color. Aromas of fresh mint, lime, sea salt, pineapple. Flavor is similar, but rounder, bigger, bolder. Coconut and pineapple, lots of tropical notes, lime zest. Bracing acidity, yet still balanced by the body. Impressively lengthy finish for a dry Riesling. Absolute stunner

Intensely mineral and floral nose. Friendly and juicy. Somewhat broad at first with lemon chiffon on the entry then nervous bouncing acidity rips through the mouth and delivers flavors of earthy honeycomb, ginger, mandarin peel and slate. Mineral like texture. This drive continues through where it clenches up on the Mouthwatering finish. Needs time in bottle for sure but is a stunner. Probably the best producer in the finger lakes.
