Au nez des cerises, de la confiture de framboise, des herbes, du moka et chocolat, des biscuits à la mélasse et touche de vanille. Une bouche sur les cerises, grasse, puissante, longue avec une touche d'alcool (le premier jour). Les tanins sont granuleux presque crayeux. Très bon.

Medium ruby red in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & raspberries with overtones of garrigue & floral notes, earth/dusty, pepper, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & plums with herbs, spices, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but has the structure to continue further development with additional aging.

Nez floral avec du kirsch. Puissant et gorgé de fruit, il est gourmand et goûteux, mais l’alcool (16%) prend davantage de place que sur les très beaux 2010 et 2016. C’est encore très jeune et fougueux et il bénéficiera sans doute de quelques années de garde. Mais c’est moins équilibré et charmeur que ses aînés. Je m’explique mal les critiques si généreuses. 90 (+) pts
Edit: Remis en cave avec bouchon, sans enlever l’air. Il est meilleur le 2e, voire le 3e soir. Aucun oxydation. L’alcool s’est intégré, c’est réglissé, beaucoup plus équilibré, très gourmand mais presque élégant! Impressionnante transformation. Franchement délicieux, mes excuses au producteur! :) 93+ pts

Deep color, intense nose. Strawberry jam is pronounced. Plum, currants, blueberry, raspberry. Vanilla, wood, tobacco Just slightly hot, but intensity of flavor makes this 90+ IMO.

Decanted for two hours and finished the next day. Wild blueberries, red brick, pipe tobacco, ripe raspberries, rosemary and lilacs, with river rock. Very tame, and expansive during the flowing, echoing finish. Fine , almost feathery tannins; there’s this round middle and intense core. Young, primal and a true pleasure. Drink 2025 - 2040.
