  • Pink orange color. Strawberries, cherries, plums and hints of floral and toastiness in the nose. Strawberries and raspberries with hints of citrus and nuts in the flavor. The 2015 Brut Rose is well structured, medium to full bodied with nice acidity, well balanced and a medium length finish.

  • Reviewed this about a year ago so short note: totally convinced this is on track to become a 95+ wine in a few years. Super fresh in the glass even after a good 30 minutes. Color is just a shade or so darker than I recall a year ago, a wonderful copper-orange-red. Nose is as a lot of other reviewers describe: strawberry, beeswax, ripe cherry, in addition to some toasted elements. Palate held together with excellent bracing acidity and a flourish of candied lemon and orange peel to finish it off. As with all great champagne, I’d recommend drinking this is a stand alone wine rather than just a celebratory drink. This will gain complexity and age gracefully for 15+ years.

  • Leuchtend berriges rot. Nase etwas verhalten. Im Mund viel Energie, stellenweise noch überladen. Erdbeere primär wahrnehmbar. Wirkt sehr jugendlich. Nächste Flasche 2028+

  • Wildman Grand Tour (RPM - Chicago IL): Walkaround tasting. Very rich, nicely ripe with plenty of energy. Fun, yet very good length. 15% red wine added.

  • Dark pink in color - reminded me of strawberry juice almost - the nose is quite close with hints of red berries. Very pleasant acidity, nice mousse, strawberries and raspberries with lemony notes and herbaceous notes and blenched almonds to lead into a medium ending that is very pleasant and balanced. Overall a good rosé that made for an good aperitif.

  • 60% Pinot Noir & 40% Chardonnay. They add, before the bottling & second fermentation, approximately 15% of still Pinot Noir which adds to the lovely color.

Red berries, plums, cherries, red apple, blood orange, rose petals, buttery croissant.

  • Pale pink colour. Small and lively bubbles. Medium and developing nose with wild strawberries, red currant, caramel, biscuit, butter and violet. Medium (+) taste of wild strawberry, raspberry, red currant, caramel, butter, biscuit, lemon and wet stone. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Vintage Rosé Champagne that is still young and somewhat closed. Drink in 2 to 30 years. Goes well as an aperitif, or with poultry.

  • My third PR wine in the last week, totally unplanned (I'm generally guided by offer prices). Quite deep copper colour. Red apple and a hint of cherry cola on the nose. Crisp, rather high-toned acidity at first, sour apple, citrus. Some cherries and berries on the finish. Vibrant and quite primary, could do with a bit more age for me. Good but overpriced. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Waitrose, £70, usually £85].

  • Previous reviewer basically nails it but here are my notes anyway. Color is a beautiful translucent orange/light red, very full mousse upon pouring that quickly settles down quickly as if often the case with PR. The nose is still a bit austere though you can get a great sense of the complexity yet to come, but right now you get fresh fruits - strawberries, raspberries, cherry as well as wonderful floral notes, perhaps dominated a bit by rose petal aromas. Bracing acidity is very welcome and, again, a sign of how well this will evolve. We drank this over two hours and as it lost the mousse a bit, the flavors integrated a bit more with some more pronounced candied fruits coming out, but still nicely balanced. Overall really terrific, highly confident this is in its infancy and will continue to develop complexity and nuance over the next 15, perhaps even 20 years and should be scoring 95+ in that time.

  • The wine is salmon-pink in colour with tints of orange, set off by fine bubbles.
Its initial nose offers a good aromatic expression dominated by red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry, along with rose petals, all leading to a beautiful freshness.
As it warms, notes of candied cherries and candy bring complexity to the ensemble.
The palate is in balance with the nose - both of equal intensity and richness.
The wine is fresh on entry to the palate with citrus notes of blood orange, then shows itself to be generous and enveloping as it reveals its red fruit aromas.
With a perfectly balanced palate, it offers good length.
This vintage's character is supported by power and vinosity.

Fish such as grilled salmon or even sushi. It also marries perfectly with fruit tarts and other fruit desserts; try pairing with a forced rhubarb fool, the sharpness of the fruit complementing the elegant structure
    of the wine.
