Pretty one-dimensional; not much on the nose beyond nondescript red fruits. Palate is fruity and balanced by a pleasant ~med acidity, light on tannins. Nothing wrong with the wine, but it’s pretty unremarkable in every aspect.

I won't denigrate this wine. It's simple and light, but not offensive. Strawberry dominant nose. Light + body. Medium finish. Not much structure to speak of.

Medium ruby color. Medium(+) aromas of strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, and a bit of blueberry, plum & banana. Medium body, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium tannins, medium(+) finish. Red fruited with a bit of black fruit, plum and carbonic character. Well made but simple. Charming wine. Drink now.

Classic Village composition of strawberries, cherries, and spices bolstered by good acidity and peppery complexity. A touch singed on the fruity finish. This is exactly what Village level Beaujolais should taste like.

From half. Again, whither Beaujolais/gamay? Second Jadot Beaujolais this month that was instead (good) Bourgogne rouge. Astringency, but not from tannin, salient on the palate. Good, but may now be on a mission to drink something I would call gamay.

The wine is a beautiful ruby-claret color. It smells like alcoholic tutti frutti gum. On the palate there is: bracing tart cherry, and gentle strawberry notes. Nice tartness balanced by gentle lasting tannins. Very fruity, but slightly more alcoholic tasting than expected from 13%.

The color is ruby in color, the wine is dry, acidity is high, tannins are low, soft but present, the alcohol is low - maybe 12%. Salinity is medium. Body is medium minus.
On the nose and the palate, classic cool climate Gamay notes of ripe strawberries, tart cherries and tart raspberries.
Additionally on the palate, there's soft notes of bramble, rock and some additional minerality shining through.
Subjective notes: This wine is very refreshing, light and easy to drink. The crisp acidity paired with bright red fruits make a great charcuterie and cheese pairing. At $11-$13 it's a great value.

Same as my last note. Still good value but lacks the sheer deliciousness of several past vintages. More tart with dulled red fruit, I like the honest simplicity of it, even if it lacks the depth of fruit and elegance it's capable of.

A very good négociant-bottled Beaujolais Villages. I have been disappointed with négociant-bottled Beaujolais in the past, preferring wines from small producers and co-ops, but this is surprisingly tasty and fresh. Good job, Louis Jadot!

Still excellent value but felt like a big step down from some previous vintages - lacking some of the ripeness and bouncy fruit that I look for in uncomplicated gamay, this was a bit more steely with tart cranberry/raspberry and a somewhat leaner, wispy profile. Very tasty, maybe not as good as it could be.

Notes of leather, plum, sugary cereal, vanilla on nose. Light body with mild tannins. Cherry burst on the finish. Ok. Not my favourite. Drank this pretty young.

Clear semi-opaque pomegranate color to the rim, with pleasant simplistic aromas of unidentifiable red and black fruit that one would expect from a semi-carbonic maceration Gamay, (especially at this price point) although the Villages (non cru Beaujolais) designation undergoes traditional Burgundian vinification. The question is how well made and how enjoyable is this specific manifestation of Beaujolais from this producer. The mouthfeel is quite thin, sans food (buy on bread sell on cheese), so with a slice of my wife’s white bread, the wine plumps up a bit, and looses the initial metallic taste. The sweet red fruit flavors are very thin, but are in accord with the acidity, alcohol level, and muted tannic structure. It has been at least 25 years since this taster has had any form of Gamay, French or otherwise, and those were the yearly trendy Nouveau offerings and all 10 of the delightful and sometimes spectacular Beaujolais Crus, especially the wines of Moulin-a-vent, Fleurie, Morgan, and Brouilly. This is a well made and insouciant entry level introduction to an uncomplicated red varietal for a wine appreciation course, and perhaps when chilled, a summer picnic accompaniment. All Fords can’t be Shelbys and all Volkswagen products can’t be Porsches.

Very easy drinking wine that is a nice transparent ruby/purple with a salmon rim. Aromas of pomegranate, pink lemonade, and fresh flowers. Taste is pink lemonade, cherry, boozy, and slightly grassy. Finish is smooth and quick.

It was good, but paled in richness and complexity to some older bottles that I have from 2013 and 2016. So may improve with some aging.
