Bursting with ripe orchard fruit on the nose along with some honeysuckle and white florals. A slight hint of petrol starting to come through as well. Similar flavors on the palate with juicy apple and pear notes with a spritz of lemon and floral notes. Excellent acidity but balanced by ripe fruit gives a nice rounded mouthfeel but still quite juicy and lively. Fantastic bottle of riesling.

A slightly sweetish wine with a very fresh aromatic and medium viscous mouthfeel. Apple, some fennel seed and a tremendous amount of limestone. Like in the 2019 I get a limestone dominant mid pallete and once again the wine is loaded with acidity. A young wine worth hunting down as it will improve a it is very lively right now.

Paul Hobbs definitely nailed this dry Riesling w/their young Seneca FLX vineyard. Looking forward to more vintages going forward-the 21 is different but just as good. Whenever in FLX visit this wonderful new winery.

This is a special wine, and as a work in progress, could have a really bight future. I consumed this over several days, vacuuming it and refrigerating it each day -- with minimal if any degradation.
Color is straw gold, but on the gold side so fairly rich, which matched its body and taste.
Nose is a combination of citrus, peach/pear, and I believe that i tasted the elusive "petrol" for the first time. Also a slight grassiness or spice, not sure. Quite complex and forward in any event.
Body is richer and more viscous than most (cheaper) Rieslings. Nice feel and length.
Flavor matches nose, mostly, but of course with the more subtle aromatics missing (bit there form the nose - how ODS one separate them...?)
I expect this has a long life, and i tried it as a baby. Anyway i think its terrific.

Aromas of nectarine, pineapple, pear, lemon zest and slate. Apricot, pineapple, grapefruit, saline and slate on the palate. Very long, creamy finish. Well balanced. A excellent FLX Riesling. Served with grilled garlic herb shrimp.

A delicious expression of riesling, has the over the top extraction and unctuousness I associate with Paul Hobbs. Muted nose, all the action is in the palate with bright apples and stone fruit, flint or limestone, vibrant citrus to balance. The same mouthfeel as a hobbs chard. On day 2, more pineapple notes emerged. Great paired with pan seared scallops. 90/91

I have been looking forward to trying one of these rieslings partly because I love his pinots from California. It was lovely with mixed sushi rolls and did not disappoint. I will be ordering more of these in the future and will see how these evolve.

Nice straw yellow color. Soft acidity, Meyer lemon, stone fruit, and a bit of petrol. Long finish. Easy drinking. Excellent value for money, high quality for the Finger Lakes.

The wine is pale straw in color with medium intensity aromas of lemon and apple. On the palate, the wine has bright acidity with citrus and tropical fruit notes. I don't get as much of the petrol vs the '19, probably because it's younger.

Picked up 3 at the Vineyard. Deep wine with honey, massive floral elements, pine, and very subtle petrol. Not a classic Riesling and more of a Viognier in my mind. Unique and enjoyable.

By the glass at the winery. Interesting comparison to the 2019: this is much fuller and richer but still has the same sort of savory herbs notes. Nose has a strong sense of dill and oregano with vague hints of curry spice. Palate is rich but not fat and has more oregano with ripe tropical fruits and a green almond finish. Really cool stuff.
