Pours a deep yellow color with rather large bubbles. Aroma is pleasant with green apples and white stone fruit. Far too tart for my taste, maybe warming and letting some bubbles escape will help

Fresh, mineral. Floral, green apple, grassy-herbal. Palate acid doc and mineral first. Creamy texture. Very crisp and beautiful. Screams cool climate, steel, and montane origins.

deeply colored... yellow gold rim. fine mousse, on the nose very unidimensional with bruised apple... not a ton of autolytic character, no signs MLF or oak use. on the palate moderate dosage, firm acids, fullish midpalate, a bit phenolic at the end, low alcohol. balanced wine with no real length, good intensity, no complexity. wine has ok finesse and texture, have no idea where i would have placed this blind. pretty dull and uninteresting, competent though.

2nd bottle from a 6 pack, last consumed about 2 mos prior. No formal TN, this was a delicious pairing with sushi, and the bottle went down quite easily.

1st bottle from a 6 pack, this is the 2020 fruit with a 2022 DG date, no dosage. Upon opening, a simple and quaffable sparkler with lots of large bubbles, light on its feet and a nice aperitif. With time in the glass, opens and gains some complexity, with notes of green apple, wet stones, and lily's. I am finding no yeasty notes, but instead, a happy, feminine sparkler with nice acidity and a moderately long finish. Drink these through 2025 or so.

Took to an Italian dinner with a few friends. Paired with Cozze e Vongole, Capesante, and Fettuccine al Granchio e Gamberi, so we pretty much covered our shelled fishes. This was a perfect match, and the wine was chiseled and refreshing with lovely white and yellow stone fruits, a nice twist of citrus, and just enough mineral weight to extend into the finish. The blind guess was something in the $40-$50 range, so for $18 this is a steal. 5+11+17+8= 91

Drinking with friends X - The world (Bellaria (Rn)): Paglierino lucente, con numerosissime bollicine fini. Naso suadente, con note di cedro candito, zenzero, zafferano, con una certa aromaticità donata dalla Nosiola. In bocca si mostra fresco, ben bilanciato, affilato, ma con un finale burroso e pieno. Sboccatura 2022.

Agree with Portland Seth. Splendid food companion. Rivals many Bordeaux Blancs. QPR.

Meyer lemon, quince, lime zest, brioche, sandy Pop-Rocks. Excellent cut, I think this could benefit from a couple years in the cellar.
