Big and rich, plum and blackberry aromas. Follows to the palate. A different impression than the 2015. Less nuanced, more suave and fruit. Light tannin.

4th Saturday Group: Uptown Brown Bag (V&M's): Double blind. Perfumed and floral to start, with currants and blackberry as well. Well-balanced, with an abundance of fruit supporting fine tannins all with good underlying acidity. Flavors of black currants and chocolate. Medium(-) finish. (J&L)

A little early to review this wine. Requires considerable (5 hours) decant to get the tannins to settle down. overall, very full bodied and predominantly blackberry and pepper stand out. Don't open for several years.

Deep ruby with reflections of purple. Ben Christiansen said this tastes like money, and he's 100% right. On the nose this mixes aromas of ripe, almost scorched black fruits and black fruit jam with savory ones of baked earth, grilled herbs, exotic spice and nutty oak. On the palate this is full bodied with soft edges, medium acidity and ripe, grippy tannins that are perhaps texturally overshadowed by the alcoholic heat. This is a crowd pleasing wine, but it lacks freshness and polish at this price point.

Smells like allot oak. And the name refers to the Korean moon jar. And it tastes like that on the palate. Tastes like money. 06-'12 was all Asia. '13 was the first domestic release. Lots of oaky grip to the wine. On Howell mountain. And this is the 10th leaf of this vineyard.

It's a good Cabernet. I am glad I didn't pay the normal price (had a discounted offer) and "only" shelled out $70. Doesn't really live up to the Wine Access hype…if this is the best Cabernet under $100 in Napa Valley, it doesn't say much for the region, or at least its ridiculous pricing levels. Having said that, my wife thought it was a modern Bordeaux and it was satisfying if you are okay with a more flamboyant style of Cab. It doesn't have an overly cloying sweet edge to it. It's just that it could come from about anywhere (Napa, Bordeaux, Stellenbosch, etc.).

Two hour decant. Very very deep ruby magenta color. Black cherry and German chocolate cake on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with tongue coating acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This is an easy drinker. Well made, but a bit simple for its price point.

Beautiful wine from the nose over the tongue and across the palate. Heavy but subtle. I have already bought more.

개봉 후 열리는데 2시간 이상 소요되었으나 어리고 밝은 과실 향미와 우아한 복합미가 매우 좋았음. 그래서 2015 빈티지 추가 구매하게 됨
