Disappointed in this vintage. 2018 / 2019 vintages much better with bread offsetting the citrus and a large amount of complexity. This vintage far more subtle, and quite bland. There was also an off putting finish. Possibly flawed bottle, although it didn’t have the “typical” wet dog corked note? Perplexing.
Served at a dinner with family, halibut with a lemon caper sauce. This is a very consistent wine, vintage after vintage. Have had several people comment that the 2021 is the best or among the best SBs that they have had. Great balance, no element overwhelms any other. Crisp acidity, prevalent but not overwhelming citrus flavors on the palate, smooth finish.

Fresh, clean with the right amount of acid. Citrus fruits, some tangerine with a touch of cream on the finish. Really like this SB @ $28. Loved the wine when it was $18. Oh well so goes it, Cali prices keep moving on up.

Such a pretty, balanced sauvignon blanc. Clean silver color. The tart and crisp with a beautiful acidity. Was a real crowd pleaser with appetizer at a pre-Christmas dinner.

Elegant, sophisticated, Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Light, golden-yellow in color. Forward, fragrant & attractive nose of fresh citrus fruits of lemons/limes, figs & melon with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle & lemongrass, chalky, stony/earthy & minerals. Light-medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, rich, ripe fruit flavors of lemons/limes, apples, figs & melons with lemongrass & stony/minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present but should develop further with additional year or so of aging.

I agree that this wine is a nice, complex, big acidity wine. Great wine year round, but super enjoyable her in California during the summer. It has a citrus beginning that turns into a acidic wine which would be great with food. Cheers everyone,

Light yellow color. Gorgeous nose of lime, orange peel, guava and white peach, infused with chalk and sea salt, and it sports some honey, yellow flower and banana elements. Crisp acidity on the palate but a delightfully creamy texture, and the balance is on point. Peach, orange peel and lime fruit play well with minerals, chalk dusty, mountain stream, with complexities of honey, clove, some nougat. Deep yet so lively, this will age nicely. Includes 9% Sémillon and 1% Sauvignon Vert, fermented in a mix of French oak, steel and concrete eggs.

Pleasant fresh, crisp. Orange-citrus notes, balanced mineral /acidity. Great with fish. The cork was poorly sealed: must drink soon.

A super light white wine. It was lacking a bit of fruit, but still refreshing. Cheers

Slight orange with notes of oyster shell minerality. Decent acidity but not as much as some sauv Blanca
