Nose has a certain cardboard note that makes little sense for a screwcap bottle. Some strawberry floral lily and strong saline minerality shows through. Perhaps the fruit has faded and this is just the strong mineral notes showing through. Still has some effervescence. Palate shows mineral galore, good acid and very little fruit. I’m not rating bc it is showing so oddly for what I know this to be. The underlying structure is superb.

One of the best pool/summer wines out there. Light/crisp fruit with some herbaceous elements that makes it unique. Very consistent and love the slight fizz here.

Brad & Russ at Harvest Vine: Mmm, what I love. Floral blast moving to a stunningly dry and mineral palate. Lighter spritz than usual but so vibrant and easy to drink. 11%

100% agree about the jalapeño note mentioned in the last review. It’s not something that I would consider a fault though. Assuming it’s from pyrazines. Overall the wine is fresh and crisp. Almost like a strawberry jalapeño margarita.
The wine is definitely more smokey/savory than past vintages, but still a delicious summer wine.

More vegetal and herbal than I can ever remember from this wine, the Beltza is really coming through. Aromas of eggplant and jalapeno, tomato leaf, petrichor, grapefruit, a little red fruit too... gorgeous on the palate, lots of citrus, red fruit, green melon, subtle spritz, intense salinity and minerality. Drink it up!

Very refreshing. Very light. Strawberries and cream. Moderate acidity. Salinity. Mouthwatering. Exactly what I want to be drinking sitting on the roof with friends in the summer.

A bit to much green pepper for my tastes.

Bitter cherry, strawberry and a distinct jalapeño note. Crisp, green, mouthwatering and brightly acidic.

More vegetal that previous vintages. Same brightness and freshness. Another $1 more expensive as well...

Greener and less ripe than in previous vintages, but that almost makes me like it more. Tremendous stuff for the price.

Definitely a nice spritz to it and very unique. Underripe green pepper/jalapeño note hits you first followed by strawberry and herbs.
