This is a great weeknight dinner wine. Light sweetness is balanced by high acidity, and this goes well with many dishes. Really outperforms its price imo

MP brought to Copake. Peach and apricot on the nose and palate. On the sweeter side, like a spatlese. Low alcohol, some petrol. Decent riesling, particularly at this price point

Pineapple, lemon, peach and some pear, all in the profile. Finish is long with some complexity to it. The sweetness level is somewhere between kabinett and spatlese. Only 8.5% alchohol. The acid level makes it very food friendly with a lighter fish entree or as an aperitif with milder cheeses. Great QPR. Incredible mouthful of wine for $10 at Costco.

Pale lemon green in the glass. Simple, straightforward nose of peach, apricot, fresh lemon juice, lime zest. Light-bodied, smashable, easy. Great acidity, zesty. Low alcohol. Textbook style of Riesling, can't get it wrong with this.

Orange Chicken with veggies and a touch of chili called out for this wine. PnP, chilled. Our first of this vintage and this bottle definitely tasted "sweeter" than previous - so much so that my notes mentioned Spatlese (not the usual Kabinett). Medium bodied with the usual peach, citrus, minerality and enough acidity to make it work.

Great Domaines - Dr Loosen Tasting (Culture Bar Bree Street): (Tasted Blind): A bright and crisp white, offering notes of almond, apple, and white flowers, with a hint of sweetness. Balanced by racy acidity, the wine is easy drinking with the flavours of fresh green apples. Quite tight and linear, with a fairly simple profile and lingering finish.

Aromas were of clean golden apple and light apple cider.
Taste was simple, clean and sweet. Fresh green apples on the palate along with a hint of honey on the medium finish. Medium body and a good amount of acidity.
Didn't expect this to be this sweet-tasted kinda like a Martinelli's. There is 42.6 g/L of residual sugar, so similar to a kabinett. Refreshing, yes, but perhaps the acidity needed to be amped up a touch more to match the sweetness. Good with food.

Opened this wine at home for the CNY 7th day celebrations at home with my in-laws and their relatives.
Wine was a bit sweeter than expected. Fresh, floral fragrance on the nose. Honeycomb, and a light touch of nectar. Expressive with elegance and flavours.
Makes a nice pre-dinner drink and pairs well with a wide range of Chinese cuisine.

Appearance: Pale Lemon Nose: Med intensity; Aromas of floral (citrus blossom, honeysuckle), green fruit (apple, pear), citrus (lemon), stone fruit (peach), wet stones, and flint. Palate: Medium-Dry, low alcohol, med(+) acid, med(-) body, med(-) intensity, tangy texture, and med finish. Flavors of floral (citrus blossom, honeysuckle), green fruit (apple, pear), citrus (lemon), stone fruit (peach), wet stones, and flint. Quality: Good. While delightful, fresh, and balanced (specifically, sweetness to acid), it's a relatively straightforward wine without showing much depth, sophistication, or individuality. Delicious. Consistent from vintage to vintage. Yellow in color with minerals and lemon on the nose. Dry: lemon again on the finish. A serious Riesling.

Pretty inexpensive entry level Mosel. Pale lemon colour. Nose is light, clean and crisp with notes of honeydew melon, pear skins and yellow apples. Palate is medium concentration, notably off-dry with confirmed honeydew, yellow apple, pear notes with some added wet stone minerality and light waxiness. Medium plus acidity with a medium minus finish. Overall for the money its a pretty quaffable and refreshing off-dry Mosel, but its certainly not going to knock your socks off. But compared to some other similar priced options in my market (Toronto, Canada,) its a pretty good deal!

If you’re expecting a qualititswein bottle, then the average 83 score from the first three cellar tracker raters might not raise any eyebrows, But this is an excellent Riesling made for everyday enjoyment. Certainly deserves a higher rating in the 80’s.

Colourless. Rich, musky aroma, full and fruity, fairly good varietal character. The taste is even better - really good concentration, apple and satsuma, well balanced acidity and sweetness. Zingy with just a touch of spritz; fresh but not lightweight. I nearly chose something else as this is such a mainstream offering (so few retailers offer much choice of rieslings), but it's impressive and pretty good value. [Screwcap; 8.5% abv; Booths, £9.50].

Lots of lemon. Solid, classic riesling. I'd say more Spätlese than Kabinett. Good value for Mosel Qualitätswein I think.

Lemon lime soda, wet gravel and a whiff of petrol. Slightly sweet, but balanced by tart acidity. A safe bet every vintage.

On the palate a tiny bit too soft for my liking, yet a much enjoyable Mosel Riesling.
Nose: honey melon, flint, peach, lemon zest, petrol
Palate: chalk, white cassis, aromatic field flower, lemon, sour peach
Medium acidity, medium+ lenght
