Nice chard with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavors of melon apple and some spicey notes. Well balanced and nice finish. My second bottle, and not a disappointment.

Very pleasant, easy-drinking chard with smooth overall impression highlighted by honeydew melon and the sweetness offset by spice and a distinct mineral component. Overall a very nice chard for those favor this style. I thought it was great.

Light golden colour, still retained some freshness on the nose, with some tropical fruits, nutty and toastiness. Rich on the palate, it exhibits melon, tropical fruits and toastiness. It has lively acidity with about half of the juice gone through malolactic fermentation. The wines is nicely oaked to add some bodied and complexity but it will be nicer if it got more fruits to support . Finishing is nice and clean.

Nice pear and butter, but could use more backbone (acid). Better than a $10 grocery store chard (no wood chips or excessive sugar), but not THAT much better.

Stone fruit and a certain pleasant chalky minerality on the nose. Interesting texture, almost granular. Star fruit notes and minerality continue through to the palate. Pretty and pretty cheap...good combination.

Beautiful aromas of poached pears and a lightly buttered squash. In the mouth lively flavors of granny smith apples and light butter caress the palate leading to a nicely balanced finish. This wine is well worth trying for the price tag.

Gibby's monthly tasting (Gibby's Wine Den, Geneva, IL): The fruit for this wine comes from farms using sustainable practices. Fifty percent of the production sees French oak for 7 months, while the rest is aged in stainless tanks. Yellow color. Aromas of coconut, banana and subtle pear tones. Has a nice charred, toasty frame, with pear and apple flavors. Creamy texture. 88+ pts.

Butterscotch, oak, some tropical tones. Still holds a fair amount of edgy acidity, I presume from only partial malo.

Mostly Oak Knoll fruit. Good fruit character and well done. Definately worthwhile at $19.99. 100% old barrell but only partial ML.

Consistent with previous bottle. I more-or-less got what I paid for (not a whole lot).

Nicely done but a touch non-discript. Still, for $19.99 it does the job nicely. 45% ML. Ok, actually, for $19 bucks it really rocks.
