Dark garnet! Full bodied! Loads of dark fruit, some vanilla, oak. All spice. Drank over 5+ hours. Drink cool. Warmer it gets, the flabbier it gets. Thick, juicy, longish finish. A little syrupy. A little linear for me. It might get better with some more age. That being said, its pricing is amazing. Almost free in my books. Good stuff! bulk wedding wine buy for sure. A crowd pleaser!

Really a very nice Shiraz. Opened it spur of the moment for a friend who stopped by and at the end of the 2 hour conversation the last glasses had opened up beautifully. Suggest letting it breathe for a couple of hours before diving in! Cheers!

Decanted for an hour which gave the wine time to open up as on initial taste it was still very dense and a bit too syrupy. Dark rich colour with lots of fruit on the nose, good structure with enough acidity to balance the sweet fruits. Contrasted well with grilled lamb - definitely needs food. Should age well.

89-90 pts

Decanter New World Fine Wine Encounter (The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London W2): A Bad Impersonator because the winemaker thinks its a bad impersonation of a Barossa Shiraz! More Rhone in style apparently. In any case I found dense purple fruit, toasty oak and liquorice on the nose. The palate is dense - jammy plum, sour cherries and tar. Fine gained tannins on the finish.

big concentrated, developing deeper character with added spice... big finish, quite smooth but still some heat in the bottle.

Smooth easy drink for an Australian Shiraz. Nice fruit with just a touch of smoked meat.

Nice nose, good purity, thick Aussie structure. Totally fell apart on the finish; disjointed and too sweet, extremely disappointing.

I love this wine. Two hands always delivers. Balanced dark fruit with a generous finish.

For a red wine, this was "sickly sweet" vanilla. The wood treatment works on Lily or Bella's "gardens", but not on this one. Disappointing.

I thought this was better the first time I had it. Very jammy, but a little too much oak for me. Slight hint of creaminess was pleasant.

nose of earth, truffle, meat. Semi Rhone-like. Nice complexity on palate, again young and tannic. 89-90.
