Halvflaske.
Still fairly dark for a vintage. Dense black center, only slight bricking. Raisins, plum, bark (!) and alcohol on the nose. The flavor follows, also with some strange forrest-like taste.... The alcohol is noticable. Great structure with high acids, a lot of alcohol in the mouth. Exceptional length.
Quite a big and bold vintage port, very acidic, rough and large, but if consumed with food (cheese or desserts) - or stored for another 10 years - it is delicious.

Opened and drunk over two nights without decanting. In the glass: Very dark purple with a hint of brownish On the nose: Blackberries, whit slight hints of smoke and charcoal On the palate: Somewhat lack of complexity, but very sweet with notes of cherries, black currant and hints of bitter chocolate Slightly unbalanced and a bit alcoholic for a higher score

Sure, this is not the best port, but I really like that our Swedish monopoly brings in mature and cheaper vintage ports. Has a much broader palate than the normal tawny and so much more finesse and power. A great way to experience an interesting type of wine at a fair price (circa 35 euro).

Halvflaske.

Mycket choklad i munnen. Fantastiskt gott! Ett av kvällens bästa.

Opened up well after a nine hour decant. Dried fruits, liquorice and figs - I like the style. Perhaps lacking a bit of finesse and a little lean/dry on the finish. Good enough for the money but I wouldn't rush back to get more.

Good balance, smooth tannins, still tastes fresh and young especially for it's age. Plum, Cherry, with a balanced finish.

Rich, spicy, port with flavours of dried fruits. Tremendous length. I'm noo expert on Ports but don't see any need to rush to drink my second bottle.

89 pts

Good, smooth, fruity, sort of "meh". Decent QPR but not heading the re-purchase list as ultimately nice but dull.
