Verry classy stuff. Silky smooth tannins. Irresistible texture. Classic old school napa cab. Will probably peak after 5-6 years in bottle, and mature for 12-14 years total.

Deep, dark garnet in color, slightly opaque in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruits aromas of cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of earthy/dusty & herbal notes, spices, minerals, leather, tobacco & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, herbs, minerals & a touch of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging. An indicative blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc.

This wine is excellent after breathing for two hours. Obviously a young wine now, so don’t be too quick to judge. Give it time in the bottle or time after opening to really be able to realize it’s potential.

Room drop pnp out of adequate but less-than-ideal stems. Slight smoke or cigarette on the nose. Fruit-driven without much tannic backbone, its easy to drink a glass or two but lacks the complexity to inspire or drive you to have another glass. Watery and lacking vibrancy to the fruit that's there.
Medium dark crimson, Medium nose, cherry pit mid palate tannins w/slight cassis note, medium finish. Nothing special at all and WAY overpriced for what it delivers.

Dark purple color. Very fruit forward on the nose. This is a very rich wine which seems almost like a cherry liquor but does have some tannic backbone. Fairly easy to drink but disappointing at this price

While there are some decent attributes to this wine, notably the fruit and the baking spices on the mid-palate - this wine simply underperforms. Cloyingly fruity on the nose, too sweet on the finish, and totally lacking structure, especially on the finish. Like buying an LP for one song, but disliking the rest...
This review is for the 2020 vintage. Very disappointed in this wine. Decanted 2+ hours and the first sip was dense, bitter, and over the top tannic. It did settle down a bit while drinking but overall, not great. At $54 (at Costco) this is way overpriced compared to, say Justin Cab, $30 or Treana, $28. The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant. The body is medium/full. The wine has angular texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Drank in PB in FL last week. Nose of black and red fruits, as well as wood. Extracted, fruity, and on the oaky side. Nothing special here, and not worth the price we paid

From memory from a club tasting. Very dark color. Decent nose. Very dark color. Heavily extracted, rich, but heavy, inelegant, and lacking nuance. Somewhat odd chemical/menthol aftertaste.. Poor QPR IMO.

The wine was decanted off a small amount of sediment and aired for an hour.
Eye: Deep purple center, wet pink-red rim.
Nose: Tobacco, mesquite, cassis, oak spice, red fruit.
Palate: Soft velvet tannins. Well balanced acidity. Cacao, vanilla, meat, blood. Red fruit, black fruit. Black cherry kirsch. Light prune.
Finish: Bitter cacao nibs, mesquite. Lingering black cherry.
Overall: Still very youthful; but a real class act.

Amazing nose of bright, dark fruit. Still young and tannins should mellow over time into a better structure, but very pleasant.

This will be good in a few years, but needs more time. Tannins a little sharp. Drank from a Coravin.

Bought because it was half price. Full bodied smooth slightly complex a Goodwyne. Worth 70 bucks? Probably not.

My score doesn’t take into account the price and would be more like a 79 if it did. It’s not bad, but pretty flabby for such a young California cab.

PnP; one dimensional wine with cassis nose, palate and finish. Not the least bit memorable - time may prove otherwise.
