Really great Rose from Ridge! Very well balanced - just enough acidity to catch your attention, but not overly acidic. Great fruit flavor - strawberry, ripe citrus, etc.

A Ridge Tahoe Weekend; 6/29/2023-7/2/2023 (Edgewood Resort): It always amazes me the breadth of wine that Ridge is able to create with the quality that they also have. It’s quite impressive. I think maybe vaguely I knew there’s a Rose but it is usually released in March which means it’s usually not around when we do our winter visit. This is slightly higher production and more available than previous bottling of wines were. Made from Grenache, Cinsault, Zin and a variety that I am forgetting. Very classic light Provence-style rose. Reminds me of drinking water lightly soaked in petals with a hint of that freshness from a stone or similar. It’s very classic and a nice way to start the weekend.

I took a punt on 4 bottles of this for summer. Color is pale pink. On the nose: citrus, minerals and strawberry. On the palate: Soft citrus, strawberry, watermelon and salinity. This is good and worth a try.

When I first heard that Ridge was making rosé, I rolled my eyes. Finally, a few years in, I decided to actually give it a try and - excuse me while I eat this crow - is fantastic. Watermelon candy and juicy strawberries all over the place. Light onion skin color. Just a smash all around. Can’t say enough good things.

Probably the best rose Ridge has produced thus far. A fair amount of Zin in this one as well, which was interesting and also like "yeah, why not? Its Ridge!" Smelled like strawberries and fresh Jolly Rancher watermelon candy in the glass. Nice acidity and weight. There was actually some texture to this wine, which I think is a little unusual for a rose, in my experience at least.

Good stuff. Easily better than 95% of the other Rose on the market.
