This was a pleasant surprise. Very well balanced with a hint of pineapple golden delicious apple with nice acidity to balance this out. Not an extremely oaky Chardonnay. Paired this with a Green Chicken Enchiladas.

Hard to beat for just $28 locally on a mixed case purchase. Excellent Ca example of Chardonnay free of heavy - handed winemaking. I mostly drink Chablis & white Burgs but this strook a chord with me and won a spot in our regular week-night rotation.

Crisp green apple with aromas of lemon, jasmine, and lavender. Bright acidity supported by subtle honeydew and citrus, with a refreshing mineral finish.

Green apple and citrus in front of a complex, herbal core and then a long medium-noted finish on acidity. Good texture, good intensity, great with seafood.

Wow, this was a pleasant surprise. How often is anyone raving about Napa Valley Chardonnay these days? More specifically, Estate Grown Chard from the Oak Knoll district. And, I say this not to disrespect the Trefethen family who continues to put out excellent wines for decades. In fact, being positioned in the south end of valley may advantage their Chardonnay? That, and a depth hand at winemaking and pristine farming. This lies somewhere between Chablis & Meursault for me. It has the weightless energy of Chablis showcasing citrus, stone fruit and mineral. But also the spicy richness of Meursault, along with just a hint of topical citrus. So vibrant, fresh & pure! Nothing to nitpick here. This is superb value at $28 locally on a mixed case buy. Going back for 3 more soon! 13% alc. I'm sure Trefethen has loyal customers, but I can't help but wonder how many scream by this great producer on their way to chase down a coveted tasting at the next CA Cult producer? Fly fishing veterans always tell me don't wade past the fish right by your feet as you enter the stream in a hurry to cast to the other shore :).

Served with vegetable kabobs and miso roasted asparagus. Nice on the tongue, very well balanced. Some notes of lemon and apple. Smoothe long finish.

Very serviceable Chardonnay I had at a business dinner. No chance to take formal notes.
