I can understand the positive WS/WE reviews at least at a high level. Complex mushroomy/herbaceous mid-palate and lots of minerality, with enough body to feel substantial but also good freshness and grapefruity citrus. I do think it might be better in a year as those flavors ideally gel.

PnP. Golden straw w/ fallow straw edge in color. Nose of honeysuckle, butterscotch, white flowers and physalis. On the palate: honeysuckle, white peach, golden delicious apple and butterscotch notes. Med to heavy weight w/ crisp acidy which has a bit more pop on the tip of the tongue, but has a pretty linear progression across the palate. Long finish of golden delicious apple, meyer lemon and butterscotch. Great QPR given the balance and intensity.

Probably no better SB Chardonnay for the price--very similar to the 2021. No oak at all so just lots of SB chard fruit (zippy citrus--maybe a bit more grapefruit this vintage?--, a hint of honeydew) and taut acidity. Delicious.
PnP, and the first few sips came across like drinking Pineapple cider. Needed some air, and revealed more over the course of a few hours. Loads of fruit here, with notes of pineapple, nectarine, and Meyer lemon prevailing, with a honeysuckle streak and just enough acidity to keep it from becoming cloying.

This is a clear light yellow colored wine. The nose doesn't give away very much. The flavor are lemon, lime, melon with some salinity. This wine was made to express the chardonnay grape as pure as possible without oak. It is surprisingly good. The body is full. The finish is clean and the consistency is rich. Without the oak the complexity is simple, but overall this wine has a harmonious balance and is very refreshing.

Nose of yeast and honey. Quite balanced acid and pleasant. Lemon grapefruit honey, cantaloupe . Slightly Grassy finish. A cross between and off German reisling and a loire chenin bland. Perfect pairing with flatbreads and hummus and almond salmon For the money I would buy this again

Really nice wine that had green apple, pineapple, lemon with maybe a touch of mango along with an herbal note. The wine had medium acidity at best and was really crisp and clean. There was decent body and it was very smooth and went well with the mushroom stroganoff we had it with.

Medium-light golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, lemons/limes & of tropical fruit notes with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle, minerals, spices & a slight hint of honey in the background. Medium-light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of apples, lemons/limes & pineapple with minerals, spices & a slight honey note. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but will benefit from an additional year or two of further aging. Very good QPR for a crisp & delicious daily Chard when found at a discount. I have tasted a lot of Chardonnays in the past and I believe this one is far from a "60" pointer. Maybe it was an off bottle or perhaps a course in remedial wine scoring is needed?
Tried at the tasting room in Los Olivos. Aged in stainless steel vats - no barrels used on this one. Nose of honeysuckle, mandarin oranges, oleander, and fresh cantaloupe. Tastes of lemon curd, orange zest, and honey. A bright, fresh wine with nice balance between the fruit and acidity. Nice wine for the price.

Lots of complexity. More floral and zesty notes (think lime zest and even a hint of white pepper) than I usually taste in Chardonnay.
