Found this when looking for one of my 2009s. Golden colour, rich buttery and oaky, but very little of the tropical fruits that younger vintages provide. Good, but I think I would have preferred it younger.

I agree on the 90 points. Have had this for almost two years and in Feb 2011 it is about the same as it was in June 2009, maybe a little more subtle. Very fresh tasting. Deep gold colour and gorgeous generous flavours with beautiful finish. Really good. One more left for next year.

I've got to join the 90-point chorus on this one. Very nicely balanced. Don't drink it right out of the fridge -- let it warm up a bit. Lean, but not acidic. I am curious what a few years will do.

pale gold in color, clean and good condition, nose with intensive tropical fruits and slight oaks, medium body, crispy dryness, little bit of spice and vanilla but not overshadow the fruit base, a nicely made oaked Chardonnay, excellent value for money

Bright yellow colour. It has complex but not overpowering aroma of apple, grapefruits, butterscotch and smoke. On the palate it has apple, pear, melon, honey and touch of oak. Buttery and creamy mouth feel as it went through 20-30% of malolactic fermentation. Smooth, balance and subtle flavour. The only disappointment is shorter than expected finishing otherwise the score will be higher. Nevertheless I truly enjoy the wine without feeling any burden of alcohol and wow, it is 14% alcohol! Easily can finish a bot with friend without even notice it.

Cork. Served well chilled at 8-9 degrees C. Decent modern New World chardonnay, not too oaky and not a fruit bomb. Nice citrus/melon skin nose and tasty pineapple chunk fruit in the mouth (candied). Tiny bit of glycerin in the feel too. Drank this as an aperitif whereas I would normally go Riesling or SB, but this was pretty good for the price (£5.49 on offer from £10.99). Would buy again if I see it in the £5-8 range but better whites around for £11, imo.

clear, still, straw, medium intensity, tears fast to form and fall nose: med+ intensity, wood, cream, spice, very ripe apples dusted with cinammon as if apple pie a la mode palat: dry, acid is med tannin is low (oak tannin and perhaps lees) body is med, alc is est 13.5 - 14, finish is long length and flavors of vanilla bean infused marinated apple in a sweet, spiced liquid.
pair with: grilled white fish such as dorade, or as an aperatif.

This is a nice every day lighter Chardonnay. It has some weight to it. A bright yellow color. Nose of pineapple, grapefruit, buttered popcorn and apple. A spritz of acidity on the palate. Clean and simple with an okay finish.

Nice chardonnay. Notes of toasty oak and green apple on the nose. In the mouth, the wine showcases some nice lift and the notes on the nose carry through on the palate.

This is a very nicely made chardonnay, combining rich fruit and oak perfectly. Some may think that there is nothing special about it, but to me, it is a rich, sexy, decently priced and food friendly chardonnay, to be enjoyed now. A crowd-pleaser.

Extremely golden straw colour, which at such a young age is a bit of a red flag if you'll pardon the pun. Overpowering oak nose with just a touch of gunsmoke (the unpleasant smell on your hands from firing a pistol at a firing range without gloves). Cloying palate where it's difficult to figure out whether the oak or the pine-fragrance toilet cleaner have ascendency. In golfing terminology, someone tried to hit a 300 yard tee shot but the ball sliced 90 degrees after 50 yards.

Lovely Char, albeit a touch out of balance with the oak in my opinion - Gold, quite viscous wth notes of pear, peach, melon, apple and buttery oak on the nose, decent structure, quite creamy, a bit 'over-the-top' butter notes, smooth on the finish with nice length (89 Points).

Half of this is aged for one year in French oak; the other half in stainless steel. It has a very attractive nose with melon, tropical fruit and white chocolate. Rich and creamy on the palate, this is rather impressive. The tropical fruit comes through on the palate too. It has quite a fine structure with a tightish finish.

Surprisingly, a little sharper than the previous bottles, but still quite good. Don't serve too cold.

Another excellent bottle. Rich and deep. I guess it could get better, but it seems to be in its prime.

Very yellow and strongly oaked. Enough fruit to overcome this but will need drinking this year before it dries out.

A tad sweet, but well made, balanced oak, citrus fruit and butter in harmony. Like Kraftwerk, metronomic beats with genuine warmth.
