You can enjoy this on release for all its up-front fruit, or age it for more complexity. The wine blends 71% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. 14.5% ABV. Anfangs verhalten, braucht etwas Zeit, zeigt Tiefgang, dunkle Kirschen, rauchige Aromen, mit mehr Luft Veilchen und etwas Süssholz, sehr komplex. Im Gaumen ungemein dicht, knackige Frucht, die Tannine sind von höchster Güte, seidig verwoben mit der Frucht, der Wein zeigt Präzision und Frische, da ist keinerlei Hitzigkeit mit im Spiel, die 14.5% Alkohol sind nicht spürbar, lebendig, würzig, mit dunklen und roten Beeren sowie viel Mineralik im Nachhall. En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Six (Bordeaux): Plums, sweet spice, a little cream, cedar, polished oak, with time and agitation a touch of blackcurrant. Medium plus intensity acidity and, like the Echo de Lynch Bages, an impression of fruit saturated tannins, finishes quite savoury and tight with a touch of salinity. Interesting.
