Very nice. We were worried from recent reviews that this would be over the hell, but it was actually very, very nice. Seems like it has several years left. Still very fruity. Enjoyed the nose, good weight, dark cherry and earth flavors, smooth, long finish. A bit too high on the alcohol, but not too distracting. Enjoyed this bottle more that the previous one.

Definitely on the slippery down slope, not a lot of good to say except the color was right. I had one a couple of years ago that was stellar...this has really fallen off. Drink m if you have m.

Pretty wine. A bit too much on the sweet side for me, but a fine wine nonetheless. Berries dominate the palate, with some green olive, anise, and bacon fat. Drink now - 2018.

More in the vein of a fat, ripe and reasonably well structured Aussie Shiraz than a northern Rhone, this rang the bell on almost all levels. Delicious, rich mouth feel, and a long satisfying finish. Amazingly fresh for the vintage w/o any prune y qualities.

Very, very good, perfect amount of aging. Elegant nose, flint and cool berry flavor. New Spring Valley wines explode with oak, but this finally has it all integrated, and the fruit shines. Baking spice, almost like cobbler. Finish goes on forever, and the tannins glide easily. The alcohol is very mild for such a large percentage on the bottle. No VA. Delicious, pure Walla Walla.

Not showing off as super complicated. Pleasing, but not as remarkable as I hoped.

Delicious syrah, with nice balance. Great fruit but not overwhelming. Finished next night and still delicious.

Really great syrah, lots of complexity, nice long finish. Interestingly it had a really high alcohol content but did not taste hot.
