Garnet color, fragrant pinot noir nose on opening, plenty of fruit, lingering pleasant taste if a little hot at the end. Surprisingly delicious and probably nearing the end of its best years.

Deep cherry-red color, smells of dark fruit and earthiness. The tannins tease the tongue but are not too strong. Easy to drink, but definitely with a touch of elegance.

Solid inexpensive Burgundy. Nose of mushrooms, cherries, cinnomon and a floral note as well. On the palate it is pretty simple with sour cherry front and center. Some gaminess. Clean finish.

Unmistakable Burgundian provenance. Color was that of a young Burgundy, well presented but light. Little mixed berry nose. Almost entirely black raspbery and faded fast after the front palate. Very little structure, common with negociant bottlings. Also very light bodied. Nonetheless is was a pleasant drink with food. Hints at some potential. If only it was heavier with either a peppery spice nuance (preferred) or a licorice finish and some length, the elegance of the underlying fruit would have been realized in the glass. Too much like adult koolade as it stands, but nothing offensive. Anywhere but Burgundy would Pinot Noir turn out well enough like this unless you tried to wreck it.

An easy drinking Pinot with nice strong aromas of strawberry, yet it also had a touch of rubbing alcohol on the nose. This was nothing too complex; a light body wine with good acidity and a full array of red fruit on the pallet. The tannins were practically nonexistent and the finish was more then fair for a Burgundy that falls under the $20 mark. Personally I enjoyed this more on day 2; though I think it was a bit too cool when it was first opened it on day 1...when I brought it up from the cellar I didn't give it enough time to adjust to room temperature.

Not as bad as I was expecting, reading the other reviews. Very light red in colour, palate was kind of light and fruity, but a bit savoury as well. Not massively complex but pleasant enough - I've had some cheapo Burgundies like Maison Champy that were much worse.

Getting better after being opened for a while. Nice berry flavors. Some would say thin, I'd say light. Very drinkable. Not terribly complex, but sometimes you don't need complexity. Solidly made wine from a great winery.

Bright, clean ruby in the glass. The nose disguise a light, elegant character slightly earthy and masculine with precise, juicy, unassuming red fruit notes. The clean, spiced raspberry aroma and violet hints are brought up gently by the alcohol and define an ethereous nose. In the mouth slightly less complex, nonetheless fresh and juicy. A simple wine with a more than fair amount of complexity. Rebuy: yes.

Light, perhaps even thin. Some nice cherry/strawberry and some funkiness with mushrooms and earth, a bit of spice, but overall more simple and rustic than I'd like. I enjoy drinking it, but it isn't memorable.

Delicious in its earnest straight forwardness; this light, picnic style, wine is real value for money with a core of sweet cherries and raspberries and a timbre of earth. Very soft and bright. Will buy more for sure.

This doesn't have obvious flaws or anything - it's just not very appealing. A bit thin, a bit bitter, lacks life. Paled in comparison to a Cristom PN I had just before, that had much more generous fruit, spice, balance and charm.

Quite tight at first but this opened up well with aromas of raspberries, strawberries, mushrooms and earthy essence, a subtle nose but pleasant. Taught acid and tannin on the palate with strawberry flavors mixing with some green flavors that are a little unpleasant and bitter towards the back end. Quite thin on the palate and lacking complexity but I dont think they are going for that here nor do I think it can be achieved at this price level in burgundy. A good wine for what it is. Pleasant.

Simple wine, some floral notes and a bit of red fruit on the nose... very light on the palate, with no transition to the fiinish, very hollow. Somewhat pleasant but frankly not recommended.

Very light color. Some cherry on the nose. Wattered down cherry juice w/ a splash of strawberry. Very thin. Would not purchase again, so many other choices for the money.

Very light color. Not a lot going on with the nose. Not much fruit, some cherry flavors coming through. The taste was very wattered down strawberry jam. No earth, no oak. Thin juice.
