Decent effort. Better with food than by itself. Nose on the tighter side, some strawberries and brown sugar. Hard candy notes on the mouth. Too light for my taste even though went very well with cabbage, plum, bacon salad, and especially good with turkey. Acidity a bit too high and almost no finish. I'd give it an 84 but at $10 it's an incredible deal.

A strong cat box smell today. Herby. But very interesting. It is from the Casablanca Valley -- famous for thier SBs. And if the smell I get from this Pinot is related to the soil (as the DO would seemt o suggest) it is no wonder that the SBs from that area are so good. The natural "herbiness" in the soil would translate into dramatic SB. Maybe just interesting Pinot. But the price is right.

Nice punchy raspberry fruit. But doesn't taste like pinot noir to me. Herbacious and vegetal says Bill. Works at $10.99. Richard says phenomonal. Comes from Casablanc so hoepfully things get more perfumed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this bottle. Its dark cranberry color backs up its ample concentration and extract. There is some tannin there, making it velvety smooth. Notes of cherry, cranberry, cola and lipstick on the nose. Fruity on the palate but balanced by the dry finish. Punto para Chile.

$14. Cherry and blueberry nose with a smidge of violet. Cranberry comes out with some air. Candy-ish, but not cloying. Light in the mouth, very good balance of fruit and acidity. Not much tannin, but what there is is a bit astringent. I'd buy it again.

Not a bad QPR - not a lot here but enjoyable and smooth enough to make a competent daily drinker.

Pretty classic new-world-style PN. Nothing complicated about it but a very nice buy at nine bucks or thereabouts.

Brick red to purple body. Candied cherries and raspberries on the nose. Mouthwatering cherry candy and all spice. Lighter and sweeter.
