Fresh, almost effervescent on the palette. Dry red cherry, and a core of charcoal lead to a lingering finish. Nicely complex and authentic. Good value.

Unusual but quite good Pinot. Originally had at Plank Restaurant in Fort Collins. Boysenberry(?) with a touch of gym socks on the nose. Delicate on the palette.

Ok. light in color. Clear oak and cherry fruit earth on the nose. Usual Pinot funk. Vanilla ferry soda with some nice aCid and and a bit of fizz on the palate. Clipped clean finish

I purchased this wine after reading "First Big Crush" - a book by Wine Spectator writer Eric Arnold. Eric spent a whole vintage with Allan Scott wines, which he discribes hilariously in his book, so after reading so much about them I thought it was fitting to end on a bottle of their wine!
Light purple in colour, this wine shows aromas of strawberry, raspberry finishing with a hint of vanilla. The palate is full flavoured - cherry characters followed by toasty oak.

This wine aged well in comparison to a much more expensive Felton Road of the same vintage.

Nose: Black cherry, subtle oak.
Black cherry continues on palate, with light body and smooth drying finish. Maybe higher alcohol than the stated 13%.
