Clear deep gold; clean medium plus nose of apricot, ginger and honey; dry; high acidity; medium plus alcohol; full body; medium plus to pronounced flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of macadamia nuts, marmalade, pith and wax; long finish; drinking superbly; has the structure to last another 5+years but why wait?
Nearly decades old and still showing well. Complex. Nose is powerful showing smoked honey, ginger, spiced apple and chamomile tea. Full and balanced palate with surprisingly fresh and youthful acidity. Flavours add a buttery note to the honey and grilled pineapple backbone. Delicious wine. Drink now.

Deep gold/yellow in color, gently fading to the rim. Nose of chalk, lychee, tree resin, rich and ripe apricot and pear. On the palate, rich and lush med(+) mouthfeel, med(+) acidity, light tannins, and totally dry. This wine shows notes of apricot, pear and lychee fruit, with minerality and a med(+) finish. Gorgeous med climate white wine from Niagara, delicious with Thai and sushi tonite. Should drink well for another 1-2 yrs.

Our entire group of 8 loved this at the winery. It is fresh and complex and pairs well with alot of foods. We had it with dinner at Stone Road Grill later that night and continued to be wow'ed.

Tasted at the winery beside the 2005 and the 2007, both of which had warmer growing seasons. I liked the fresher acidity of this wine - which, combined with the fruit, makes this wine somewhat more ageworthy. A lovely mouthful of wine - delicious now; will keep well for 5 years.

Another lovely bottle of Stratus white, this one appearing a bit more elegant than other vintages, and perhaps a touch fresher than other years - Deep gold, full viscosity with a nose of honey, pear, peach, apple and vanilla, nicely balanced and structured, very complex and smooth and sweet on the palate with terrific length, outstanding (93 Points).

Clean, crisp. Moderate (not extravagant) varietal characteristics, some lychee, some rosewater. Not much residual sugar. Very good hot weather wine, could sip on its own or enjoy with moderately spicy foods

Weekly tasting group #128; A mixed set of wines. (@ DJ): Golden yellow. In the bouquet honey, butter candy, polishing wax and litchi. On the palate an enormous concentration, litchi and honey again. Very tasty wine.
