pale golden hue. definite peach notes with a hint of pineapple and stone on the nose. medium weight with poignant acidity. golden apples, petrol and mineral on the palate. finish falls a bit short. paired well with a light curry.

Ultimate Parker in Singapore Mega-Tasting (The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore): Simple, pleasant, but certainly well made. Nose showed subtle notes of petroleum, some lovely appley white fruit and a little minerality. More nice fruit on the palate, shading into grapefruit and passionfruit territory, along with a bit of weight and nice balance from prickly acidity. Finish was fresh, with a touch of lacy minerality. Excellent QPR.

it's a pleasant enough wine with a distinct grapefruit flavor that's slightly on the bitter end. Crisp with a hint at once of minerals and petrol, but not much finesse or complexity.certainly it's not one of the top Rieslings either of Alsace in general or Trimbach in particular.

Dry (as usual for Trimbach), very little fruit, great minerality, sharp acidity, good finish. Have had better vintages of this wine, though (like the 2007).

Pale yellow, a little cloudy. Soft nose of white fruit and minerality. Very dry palate with some rocky minerality that becomes strong on the medium length finish. Fruit is present also on the palate, but not very strong.

Day 1: Mineral. Day 2: Mineral, peach. Day 3: Mineral, peach, citrus. Day 4: Mineral, peach, citrus, petrol. Really interesting, adult wine. Showing absolutely no fruit on the palate, just a tart cleansing minerality, and a growing herbal, bitter note. Reminiscent of a dry chenin blanc.

Light, clear yellow with a crisp, refreshing mouth feel featuring flavors of pineapple, apple, peach and lychee on the palate. Finishes dry with hints of grapefruit, lime and minerals. Very good value wine. Perfect refreshment on a hot summer day or during cocktails. Drink from 2008 to 2014

The wine was opened along with a hugel. The trimbach showed better, with a developed nose with bright peachy fruit. The palate is not as interesting, with lemon and mineral flavors, and a slight bitterness. The finish is dry and clean. I much prefer their Gewurztraminer, but the riesling showed well with our Asian-inspired shrimp dish.
Winemaker's notes: "Bright, with green edges and a developed nose, the wine shows a hint of mineral flavor, which is associated with perfect ripeness. Flavors of white peach, quince and lemon on the palate with a lingering, clean and dry finish. Riesling is at its best with marinated, grilled, or sauced fish, and sushi. Very good with traditional Alsace dishes like onion tarte, choucroute, and pork."
