near perfect fill, still with $12.99 price tag, brick edges but good color, currants, cedar, continued to open and improve over first hour, very nice mouth feel, good finish, most identified as left bank Bordeaux

Into neck.

Tenure Celebration: Excellent fill and a nearly perfect cork. I bought this wine at auction and the original price tag of $12.99 was still on it. This is a big, brooding and dark wine presenting dark fruits. I noticed plum and maybe even black raspberry along with myriad secondary flavors mixing in. An outstanding wine that I am glad to have a few more bottles of.

Opened to a fruit forward nose. Color of ruby red with some brown around the edges if you looked. Initial flavors/aromas of cherry, pepper, followed by some leather and chocolate. The bottle started to fade after about an hour. Lots of sediment in the bottle. A good cab but one that's starting the down hill trip. Drink up ifyou have any of these.

Opened about 30 minutes before drinking. Flavors of chocolate, blackberry, cassis, leather, and a hint of pepper. No tannins whatsoever and very smooth. The bottle threw a fair amount of sediment. Not going to improve but very good!

consistent with bottle six months ago. very pleasurable. not sure it will improve, but no rush to drink the others. 30 minutes of air was helpful.

1987 Cabernet Retrospective, Part 1 (Tom's house in Palo Alto, California): Outstanding nose! Surprisingly still a little bit tannic.
Nose: A Palate: B+ My #2, Group's #2 (38 pts) Tasted blind.
