Cork. 8% alc, 85g r/s, 7.8g acid. Mid gold. Peach, apple, orange and honey. The initial sweetness on the palate is soon checked by a mineral, acid backbone. Finishes with an undercurrent of sweetness topped with a hint of orange rind.

Yellow. Pure orange soaked in honey. Plump for a Mosel wine. Moderately sweet, great, succulent orange and pear, spice, adequate acidity, and a nice slate finish. Not a chiseled wine, but this rather clinical description does not capture what a joyful match this was for moderately hot Thai food.

Smells awesome, great honey/petrol nose with lemon, peach juice, cantaloupe. Great texture, honeyed peach, ripe apple, lemon citrus. Strong acidity still fully engaged, keeping the sweetness nicely balanced. Long, yummy finish that ends slightly sour in a good way. This is good wine that is enjoyable now but should drink well for a very long time.

Delicious, fresh nose, very pleasing. Apples, lemon, some kerosene. Awesome feel on the palate with fresh honeycrisp apple, balanced sweetness to the bright acidity. Some honeyed flavors as well with nectarines and peaches. Great length, very linear as it recedes into the finish. Very refreshing style, like the previous taster said, I enjoyed this on a warm afternoon as well and it was perfect with dinner.

This was lovely stuff. Served chilled on a warm afternoon, it hit the spot immediately. The aromas and palate revealed an engaging lime/lemon twist and together with the linearity from the acid and the sweetness, the wine disappeared quickly! It could reward patience in the cellar for many years.

German Riesling Seminar Series with Ewald Moseler (Spätlese) (Liner & Elsen): This has nice aromas, tons of herbal character (primarily rosemary), and some very light lemon zest. There are some green notes of sweet steamed broccoli and asparagus on the palate, and tons of sweet green apple. There's some pineapple that carries into the finish coupled with more green apple, and a very nice balance of acid and sugar.

Tasted in a flight of Riesling from Mosel and Rheingau. The minerality, citrus and lemon stuffed apple skin with stone and honey was dead on. Great balance, great value and nice expression of Mosel QmP.

Lovely perfumed nose, there is musk, chalk and citrus. Wonderful palate, there is sweetness and acidity in harmony. Focused even though there is great mouthfeel. Loved it.

One of the best values I've had in awhile in a MSR Riesling. Very good balance of acidity/fruit/alcohol; concentrated and floral/citrus but not too much. Good complexity and finish; holds up well chilled or not

Very muted nose, not giving much, but on the palate very "cool" aromas of peaches, similar in stile to Schmitges Red Slate Kabinett, but schmitges has better and deeper fruit profile.Still a nice drink.
