Colour show some age but not thirty years. Forward dark fruit with just a touch of lighter flower notes and hint of milk chocolate. The palate is more forceful with black and dark red fruits, lots of intensity to match the fine tannins. Very enjoyable now but has ways to go. Not looking to open the next bottle for 5 years at least.

Saturated dark ruby to the rim, but not quite as opaque as these wines are on release. Sweet, dusty nose of cranberries, red currents, hints of spices. In the mouth, rich, sweet, cranberry liqueur with a very long finish. A very attractive Taylor but in a slightly light style, it seems to me; I suspect this will mature relatively early. Give it 93+ points. For me, quite drinkable now.

I'm not a Port-fan, and any note I could have given would be an insult to the wine as well as Port-lovers. "Purple" was the only thing I wrote on my paper..

Rich, concentrated, soft, good length, fine structure with tannin and some nice acidity

Strange dark color for this older vintage. Oaky creamy fruity nose. Sweet cherries, orange, caramel, on the palate, decent finish.
