Again the proof white Burgundy needs time. 2007 was a cold year with high acidity. This wine has it all: ripe fruit, nice acidity and length. Can age some longer!

Served with roasted turkey at Christmas dinner- tropical fruit and honey flavor scare at the forefront. A very rich land lushly-textured wine that paired nicely with the rich foods at dinner.

Ripe yellow citrus and apple/pear on the nose with a slight bit of nut oil and smoke. Nice texture with good minerality and acidity throughout. Very nice wine.

MWS Wine Tasting and Dinner (Restaurant De Burgemeester *, Linschoten, Netherlands): Relatively deep colour; cheese rind nose, opens up to honey, deep and quite oxidative; slightly odd palate but rounds out well, past best but not without charm. Not rated.

Expressive nose. Nice balance. Could use a little more acidity to stand up to food.

The wines of Yves Boyer-martenot (At the winery): Butter and hazelnuts, fine, rather short finish.

Tasted at the Domaine. Creamy lemon with a bit of smokey wood. Very well balanced with a nice finish.
