For me showing clinically dead, but after two days there was some remaining life in the wine with a certain chambolle style. Absolutely not impressive; hope to retaste this wine once.

Stunning nose w/intense forest floor and sweet red fruits; in the mouth it leads w/this sort of tobacco leaf, briary, flavor, very pure red fruit comes after, and then at the finish that goes on and on a slightly baking spice chimes in. A beauty, and you could drink it now “on the fruit,” as someone on cellartracker says, or hold it for another 5-10 years. This is Burg I could drink for the rest of time.

As tasters before mentioned, Christophe Perrot-Minot has gained in purity and complexity over the last two/three years. This wine is so perfectly balanced, so fresh and also so pungent. Positively pungent in the way the pinot is shown so precise and also so overwhelming and so pure. Violets and soap like once before (in ancient times) the young 1975 (!) Nuits St. Georges, 1er Cru Les Porrets from Henri Gouges. Drink this one in the next two or three years on the fruit.

For a village wine this was a great bottle. Although young the style makes it easier to drank than the 05s. Very floral and nicely balanced with a good finish.

Pure transparent red. Very classy and pure chambolle nose of cherries, brown sugar and dried roses with good depth. In mouth it is high-pitched, but gets broader with some air. A very satisfying expression of chambolle terroir and a great 2006.

Cherries and sweetness in the nose, combined with some spices and earthiness in the taste, good backbone of acids. Solid.

Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Lots of SO2 that made it impossible to assess in the time available at the tasting table. Good sweet underlying fruit, good textures.

Already showing a slight brown tinge around the edges. Very tart nose of red raspberry and cranberries.

Time after time following his wine, finally fallin' in love.
We won't talk about the past but since 2004, he found the way to express the terroir, stop wasting his time on oaky thing.
Anyway, I'm not so sure about him until I tested this bottle last night...one of the most happiness session happens.
How can I begin ? The typical nose of Chambolle-Musigny with the details and layers...more charming and seductive than Vogue...you did it great, man.
The structure is also full of texture, dense, well-balanced, full, delicious also stylist...Brovo...Congratulations. !!!
The aftertaste is deep, powerful and aggressive in a good way...hardly to believe...is this a AOC wine ?
If you were here with me, Christophe ...my careless whisper...I totally need you to be unchanged.
...Walk this way...and take my breathe away for awhile...I have to catch up your selection of 2006 asap !!
...the echo of the voice of Connoisseur's choice...
