Popped and poured. The nose smelled of very ripe fruit. However, the palate was more restrained. Dark fruit, earth/minerality. Complex for a $8 bottle of wine. Great QPR here.

Veleta Tasting with Juan Palomar and his wife. (NYC): 10% grenache here. no oak. rich tipe black fruit, fresh cherry, light on tannins. very pleasant wine - although a bit simple.
