Small bit of brett on opening but it fades away. Richly fruited with somewhat rustic flavors. Enough acidity to hold up the fruit but not really give it any drive. Mild, late tannin. Still very simple in expression. No rush to drink but it would be a wonder to see this improve a lot. Consistent over two nights.

Touch of brett evident immediately on the nose. Fairly fat fruit on the palate that seems to hide the acidity leaving this a bit round. A metallic note on the finish confirming the brett. Either just not real expressive or in a dumb phase. Considering what you can wander around and trip into from CdR not really even a value at $13 right now.

nice wine, bad pairing. Not as versatile as I would've expected from a CdR. First taste while cooking dinner wine was lovely, then it turned to pure acid in my mouth when the salmon and green beans entered the picture.

Delicious yet straightforward wine, rich nose with some CO2 (there's a note almost like carbonic maceration) but tons of raspberry, hint of menthol. On the palate, rich flavor balanced with nice acidity, lightly tannic with a nice juicy finish.

I didn't take any notes on this wine, but I thoroughly enjoyed drinking it with dinner. Very smooth and a great every day wine. Excellent value for the price.

in a way, flawless, but not especially intriguing either. Entirely pleasant, and although better than serviceable that;s the word that comes to mind. A great house wine, would likely be nice to bring over to friends for dinner. Is there any point in cellaring this one?

Hard to tell if this is a little reduced on the nose, or there is a touch of brett here. Think it's brett. dark garnet, medium body, decent dark red fruits, comes across a bit woody, lacking the vibrance or intensity of some of the other 07 CdRs I've had so far. Surprisingly, this doesn't really stand up to the quite good 05 version.

Impressions only - first two words that come to mind are "fruit" and "grip". Good now, this seems like it'll be better in a year or two, and should age for a while. Long juicy finish.

Initially very tight on the pop and pour. Cherry, strawberry and herbal nose. Lots of pepper and dried herbs on the palate with cherry, strawberry fruit, but with a metallic and bitter finish. With time, the fruit fleshed out and the bitter, metallic finish moderated. Overall, a bit thin and uninspired. Perhaps I opened this too soon, or should have done a long decant, but I was not terribly impressed and wouldn't re-buy.

A burst of ripe, pure fruit hits you on tasting this wine. Not terribly complex, but with good nuance for a CdR. Another positive data point for 2007 So Rhone.

nothing spectacular, but solid smooth wines that I should have aged longer

Simple and well received. Hints of dark fruit and a little buttery. For the price a great entrance to CNDP

Yikes...totally uninspired and a bit insipid. Definitely should be drunk with food because there is no way to enjoy this wine on its own.

Further evidence of the great vintage. Terrifically pleasing, though not horribly complex. Much better than the 08 Cosme.
