Burgundian indeed! Earthy, mushrooms, a bit of lovely funk. Not too acidic, yet crisp, not thin. Drinking well now though I'd want to wait until 2018 to open my 2nd one.

I don't find oxidized wines particularly compelling, but this was strikingly good. An amazing balance of fruit, bone-dry minerality, and then the obvious oxidation.
